Job Summary

The Operations Manager is responsible for overseeing the company's day-to-day operations to ensure efficiency, productivity, and profitability. The role involves planning, coordinating, and optimizing operational processes, managing teams, monitoring performance, and ensuring projects are delivered safely, on time, and within budget.

Key Responsibilities

Operations Management

• Plan, coordinate, and supervise daily operational activities.
• Develop and implement operational policies, procedures, and best practices.
• Ensure efficient utilization of company resources to achieve business objectives.
• Monitor operational performance and recommend process improvements.
• Coordinate project execution to ensure timely delivery and quality standards.

Team Leadership

• Supervise, mentor, and motivate operational staff.
• Allocate responsibilities and monitor employee performance.
• Foster a culture of teamwork, accountability, and continuous improvement.
• Identify training and development needs for operational teams.

Planning & Performance

• Develop operational plans, budgets, and performance targets.
• Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and prepare operational reports.
• Identify operational risks and implement mitigation measures.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and industry standards.

Health, Safety & Compliance

• Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations.
• Promote safe working practices across all operational activities.
• Conduct regular inspections and address operational challenges promptly.

Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Operations Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Professional certification in Operations or Project Management is an added advantage.

Experience

• Relevant experience in operations management, preferably within an engineering, construction, or industrial environment.
