Responsibilities or duties

  • Lead the deployment and implementation of network infrastructure projects, ensuring timely and high-quality delivery.
  • Provide Level 2 technical support by troubleshooting complex network issues and ensuring optimal network performance with minimal downtime.
  • Monitor and maintain network systems to ensure reliability and efficiency.
  • Mentor junior engineers and interns by providing guidance, training, and monitoring their progress.
  • Maintain relevant industry certifications to support vendor partnerships and technical capability.
  • Implement network security measures and utilize monitoring tools to enhance performance and system protection.
  • Maintain accurate documentation of network configurations, incidents, and project updates.

Position 2: Network Support Engineer (1 Position)

Key Responsibilities

  • Install, configure, and maintain network and security solutions for clients.
  • Respond to technical support requests and provide timely troubleshooting assistance.
  • Provide technical support both remotely and on-site where required.
  • Assist in pre-sales activities, including solution configurations and technical presentations to clients.
  • Follow up with clients to ensure systems are fully functional after issue resolution.
  • Maintain strong client relationships through effective communication and service delivery.
  • Track and maintain accurate records of work activities and support requests.
  • Prepare and submit technical reports as required.
  • Pursue assigned technical certifications and continuous professional development.
  • Escalate complex technical issues to senior engineers or relevant teams when necessary.

Qualifications or requirements (e.g., education, skills)

  • Relevant degree or diploma in Computer Science, Information Technology, Network Engineering, or a related field.
  • Professional certifications in networking or security technologies (such as Cisco, Fortinet, Palo Alto, or similar) will be an added advantage.
  • Demonstrated technical knowledge of networking and security solutions.
