JOB DETAILS:

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES 

i. Fully operating machinery without supervision.

ii. Establishing various required measurements according to the work he/she is doing and how he/she is directed by the work leader.

ii. Provide first aid for mechanical repairs and also be able to provide accurate instructions for mechanical faults when required to do so.

iv. To write a proper log sheet and keep accurate records of equipment usage such as oil, grease and spare parts.

v. Ensuring that machinery/machines are used for the required tasks.

vi. Cleaning the plant.

vii. Perform other duties as directed by his/her Supervisor.

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE        

Must have a Form Four (IV) Examination certificate, a Class 'G' license for operating machinery, as well as knowledge of maintaining various machinery components, and experience operating machinery for a period of not less than three hundred (300) hours or three (3) months without causing an accident.
