Mechanic – 1 Position (Dar es Salaam Site)

Job Summary:

The Mechanic will be responsible for performing maintenance, diagnostics, repairs, and servicing of heavy machinery, plant equipment, or vehicles at our Dar es Salaam site, ensuring operational reliability and safety.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform routine maintenance, inspections, and repairs on machinery and equipment.
• Diagnose mechanical issues and implement effective repair solutions.
• Follow preventive maintenance schedules to minimize downtime.
• Adhere strictly to workplace safety protocols and regulations.
• Maintain accurate records of work performed and parts used.
• Work independently with minimal supervision.

Requirements:

• Relevant technical qualification (e.g., FTC, VETA Certificate, Diploma in Mechanical Engineering).
• Minimum of 3 years of hands-on experience as a mechanic in an industrial, construction, or manufacturing environment.
• Ability to work independently and troubleshoot mechanical systems.
• Strong work ethics and a solid commitment to safety awareness.
