Kilwa District Council is seeking to fill the position of Mechanic II (Vehicles).

Responsibilities or duties

• Performing preventive maintenance of clutches, gearboxes, brake systems, etc.
• Diagnosing and identifying vehicle and machinery problems and performing repairs;
• Conducting quality tests of vehicles and machinery after repairs;
• Ensuring the maintenance of tools used in vehicle and machinery workshops;
• Collaborating with other workers in achieving the Institution's goals;
• Performing other duties as directed by your leader.

Qualifications or requirements (e.g., education, skills)

• Recruits who are Form Four graduates with a Trade Test Grade II/CBET II certificate in Motor Vehicle Mechanics from VETA or another Government-recognized institution.
