Job Summary
The Math Teacher will plan and deliver engaging mathematics lessons that develop learners' numerical understanding, problem-solving abilities, and confidence in applying mathematical concepts to real-life situations.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan and deliver age-appropriate Mathematics lessons based on the school's curriculum.
- Develop learners' numeracy, reasoning, and problem-solving skills.
- Use practical activities and innovative teaching methods to make Mathematics engaging.
- Assess learner progress through assignments, tests, and classroom activities.
- Provide constructive feedback and additional support to learners who need it.
- Maintain accurate learner records and prepare progress reports.
- Create a positive, inclusive, and well-managed classroom environment.
- Participate in school activities, meetings, and professional development programmes.
Qualifications & Experience
- Degree or Diploma in Education, Mathematics Education, or a related field.
- Proven experience teaching Mathematics at primary level.
- Experience teaching the British or American curriculum is required.
- Strong classroom management and communication skills.
