This role will directly influence site performance and operational success through expert oversight of planning, budgeting, forecasting, cost management, and continuous performance improvement initiatives.
Key Accountabilities
Planning, budgeting and forecasting
The Manager, Finance Business Partnership will be responsible for leading and overseeing advanced financial planning processes that align with regional and corporate objectives.
Key responsibilities include:
- Defining, implementing, and overseeing a comprehensive advanced financial planning framework to support the mine’s strategic direction.
- Leading the development of accurate annual budgets in collaboration with cross-functional departments.
- Ensuring budgets reflect operational realities and the strategic priorities of Geita Gold Mining.
- Guiding the development of advanced rolling forecasts by integrating macroeconomic and microeconomic factors.
- Providing enhanced forecast accuracy and strategic foresight.
- Influencing and coordinating the annual business plan, operating budget, and revised forecasts.
- Optimizing financial resources to support business priorities efficiently.
- Supporting strategic decision-making for site and regional business plans.
- Ensuring strong financial alignment and risk management.
- Monitoring actual financial performance against approved budgets.
