Maintenance Engineer

Graphite Mining Project – Tanzania

Location: Tanzania (Site-Based)

ROLE

Lead maintenance planning and execution for mining and plant equipment to ensure safe, reliable, and efficient operations.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Plan and oversee preventive and corrective maintenance.
• Maintain availability of plant and mobile equipment.
• Manage breakdown response, work orders, and spare parts.
• Supervise technicians and contractors while enforcing HSE standards.
• Prepare maintenance reports and drive continuous improvement initiatives.

Reports To: Owner's Representative

REQUIREMENTS

• Degree or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or Maintenance Engineering.
• Minimum of 5 years of relevant maintenance experience, preferably within mining or heavy industry environments.
• Knowledge of maintenance planning systems, CMMS, and spare-parts control.
• Strong troubleshooting, coordination, and team leadership skills.
• Willingness to work in a site-based environment with a strong commitment to safety.
