KEY SKILLS AND EXPERTISE:

• Qualification: Bachelor's Degree in Law and Must be a graduate from Law school of Tanzania.
• Experience: 2-3 years, preferably in cement, manufacturing, mining or energy.
• Communication: Excellent written and spoken English and Swahili.
• Regulatory Knowledge: Statutory, environmental, mining, safety and labour requirements.
• Contract Management: Drafting, review and monitoring of contractual obligations.
• Integrity & Discretion: Handles confidential company information responsibly.
• Attention to Detail: Sound judgement, accuracy and strong organisation.

ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES

• Monitor compliance with all applicable laws, regulations and licences
• Maintain the Legal & Regulatory Compliance Register and renew permits
• Draft, review and manage contracts, agreements and obligations
• Ensure plant, mining, environmental, safety and labour compliance
• Track litigation, claims and disputes with external advocates
• Liaise with government and regulatory authorities
• Support corporate governance, Board and statutory records
