Duties and responsibilities

The Laboratory Assistant will be responsible for the following duties:

• To perform blood test, urinalysis and microbiological cultures to assist in disease diagnosis.
• To ensure accuracy and reliability of test result through proper calibration and maintenance of laboratory equipment.
• To collect proper biological samples for testing while maintaining sterility and safety protocols.
• To assist in the detection and monitoring of infectious disease.
• To record test results and maintaining patient laboratory records for medical reference.
• To keep track of laboratory supplies, reagent and consumables to ensure smooth operations.
• Any other duties as may be assigned by the management.

Qualification and skills required

Applicants should have the following qualifications and skills:

• A certificate in Medical Laboratory or related field.
• Registration with ERP.
• Possess a valid practicing license.
• A minimum working experience of two years.
• Experience in occupational health/industrial medicine.
• Applicant must submit all documents as a single PDF.
