Job Summary:
The Kitchen Helper supports the chefs in the daily operations of the kitchen. This entry-level role is crucial for maintaining hygiene and ensuring the chefs have all the necessary tools and clean supplies to work efficiently.

Key Responsibilities:

• Cleaning: Wash dishes, pots, pans, and utensils. Clean kitchen surfaces, floors, and storage areas.
• Food Prep Assistance: Assist chefs with basic food preparation, such as peeling vegetables, chopping ingredients, and preparing simple garnishes.
• Waste Management: Dispose of kitchen waste and garbage properly.
• Storage: Ensure deliveries are stored correctly in the refrigerator, freezer, or dry store.
• Equipment: Ensure kitchen equipment is clean and ready for use.
• Support: Replenish kitchen supplies and ingredients for the chefs during busy periods.

Qualifications & Requirements:

• Education: Minimum of Primary School Education. A Food Hygiene Certificate is a plus.
• Experience: Previous experience in a kitchen environment is preferred but not mandatory (training will be provided).
• Skills: Basic understanding of hygiene and sanitation.
• Attributes: Hardworking, reliable, physically strong, and willing to learn.
