Position Summary:
This dual-role position is critical for safeguarding hotel revenue. The Income Auditor verifies the accuracy of all daily revenue transactions, while the Accounts Receivable function manages guest and group billings, collections, and credit control.
Key Responsibilities:
Income Auditing: Audit daily revenue reports from all outlets (front desk, F&B, spa, etc.) for accuracy and completeness. Reconcile POS systems with PMS (Property Management System) totals. Investigate and resolve discrepancies.
Accounts Receivable: Prepare and issue invoices to corporate clients, travel agents, and groups. Post payments to guest ledgers accurately. Actively follow up on outstanding accounts and manage the collections process. Maintain accurate aging reports. Process credit card settlements and bank deposits.
Ensure all revenue is properly recorded and protected from loss.
Prepare daily revenue summaries and reports for management.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Diploma or degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in hotel income auditing and/or accounts receivable.
- Hotel or hospitality background is essential.
- In-depth knowledge of hotel PMS (e.g., Opera) and POS systems.
- Meticulous attention to detail and a strong investigative mindset.
- Excellent numerical and analytical skills. Persistent and diplomatic in collections.
