Job Summary
We are looking for an experienced and dedicated HSE Officer to join our team and help us create and maintain a culture of safety, compliance, and environmental stewardship.
Key Activities
- Conduct regular safety audits and inspections to ensure compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements.
- Develop, implement, and maintain health, safety, and environmental programs and initiatives.
- Investigate accidents or incidents to identify the root cause and ensure corrective actions are implemented.
- Provide training and guidance to employees on safety procedures and best practices.
- Monitor and report on health and safety performance metrics.
- Ensure all work activities are conducted in accordance with legal and company standards.
- Ensure compliance with all accident reporting laws, assist in legal matters related to safety and environmental violations, and help manage claims effectively.
- Promote and sustain a strong safety culture within the organization. Encourage employees to actively participate in safety programs, raise safety concerns, and report potential hazards.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Health and Safety, Environmental Science, or related field.
- years of experience in an HSE role preferably in industry.
- In-depth knowledge of HSE regulations and industry best practices.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Relevant certifications are added advantages
