Job Overview:
We are seeking an experienced and strategic HR officer to oversee human resources functions across our multi-sector organization. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of the unique HR needs within construction, Logistics, and microfinance industries, playing a pivotal role in attracting, developing, and retaining top talent while ensuring legal compliance and promoting a positive workplace culture.
Key Responsibilities:
- Coordinate end-to-end recruitment, onboarding, and retention strategies tailored to each industry.
- Assist in develop and implement sector-specific HR policies and procedures in compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
- Manage employee performance appraisal systems, employee engagement initiatives, and training programs.
- Administer competitive compensation packages and benefits programs aligned with occupation health and safety standards, labor laws, and financial regulations.
- Ensure compliance with occupational health and safety standards, labor laws, and financial regulations.
- Maintain HR metrics, analyze trends, and generate reports for senior management to inform strategic decisions.
- Foster a culture of diversity, equity, and inclusion across all business units.
- Supervise and mentor the HR team, encouraging professional development.
- Collaborate closely with operational leaders in construction, logistics, and microfinance to address sector- specific HR challenges.
- Promote a safe, compliant, and productive work environment.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
- Minimum of 2 years’ management experience.
- Strong understanding of labor laws, safety standards, financial compliance and industry- specific regulations.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, conflict management skills, and ability to engage diverse stakeholders.
- Proficiency in HRIS systems and standard office software.
- Strategic thinker with analytical skills to interpret HR data and develop actionable insights.
- Adaptable, proactive, and solutions- oriented mindset.
