ABOUT THE ROLE

Tanzania Labour Guide is seeking to recruit a highly experienced and results-driven Front Office Manager for a leading hospitality establishment in Dar es Salaam. This role requires a strong, hands-on leader capable of transforming front office operations into a professional, disciplined, and guest-centric department, aligned with international standards.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Lead and manage all front office operations
  • Ensure a seamless and professional guest check-in/check-out experience
  • Handle and resolve guest complaints promptly and effectively
  • Train, supervise, and continuously develop front office staff
  • Enforce discipline, grooming, and service excellence standards
  • Develop and implement Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)
  • Drive guest satisfaction and overall service quality

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE

  • Minimum 10 years of experience in the hospitality industry, with at least 3 years in a managerial role
  • Proven experience in a reputable 4★ or 5★ hotel environment
  • Strong leadership and team management capability
  • Excellent communication and guest relations skills
  • Demonstrated experience in staff training and development
  • High level of professionalism, integrity, and discipline
