The Field Supervisor – Telecom Implementation (TI) is responsible for supervising and supporting onsite telecom installation and commissioning activities to ensure that all implementation works are executed in accordance with Nokia standards, Method of Procedure (MoP), customer requirements, and approved project plans. The role ensures that site activities are delivered safely, on time, within scope, and with the required quality standards.

Responsibilities

• Execution & Supervision of the onsite Telecom Implementation activities. Trouble shooting, Support & supervision of onsite team to perform I&C according to Nokia specifications & according to Method of Procedure (MoP).
• Manages clearance of site defects with suppliers and approves site readiness prior to the Site Acceptance by the Nokia customer. Coordinates and facilitates Telecom Implementation with relevant stakeholders
• Handling TI tasks
• Accountable for quality and accuracy of own output. Manages clearance of site defects with suppliers and approves site readiness prior to the Site Acceptance by the Nokia customer.
• Supervises the execution of the onsite Telecom Implementation activities in liaison with the Roll out Manager & Field Deployment Manager for whole or part of a customer project, ensuring the project is delivered in scope of contractual obligations, timeline and required quality.
• Support & supervise onsite team to perform installation & commissioning according to Nokia specifications
• Contributes to the development of the roll out plans with the Roll Out Manager & Field Deployment Manager
• Ensures that equipment installation & commissioning results are according to the detailed installation & commissioning Method of Procedure (MoP) and/or specifications and that they follow Nokia standards and all local applicable regulations
• Manages clearance of site defects with suppliers and approves site readiness prior to the Site Acceptance by the Nokia customer
• Follows up and reports the work progress related to time schedule and quality to Roll out Manager & Field Deployment Manager and escalates the deviations
• Follows up service supplier performance and report to Roll out Manager & Field Deployment Manager

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or Diploma in Telecommunications, Electrical/Electronic Engineering, or related field with 3–5 years of experience in telecom implementation and field supervision.
• Proven experience in onsite telecom implementation activities, including installation, integration, commissioning (I&C), troubleshooting, and site acceptance activities within Nokia or similar telecom environments.
• Strong ability to supervise onsite teams and subcontractors to ensure implementation activities are executed according to Nokia specifications, Method of Procedure (MoP), quality standards, and local regulations.
• Experience in handling Telecom Implementation (TI) tasks, including equipment installation, commissioning validation, and site readiness verification.
• Ability to manage and clear site defects with suppliers, ensuring readiness prior to customer site acceptance.
• Strong understanding of rollout coordination and ability to work closely with Rollout Managers and Field Deployment Managers to support rollout execution plans.
• Experience in monitoring work progress against schedules and quality targets, with ability to identify deviations and escalate issues appropriately
