Penuel’s is an events management company with 10 years of experience delivering world-class services at corporate events, conferences, and exhibitions.
The company is looking for a talented and hands-on Events Coordinator to bring its clients’ visions into existence.
Duties and responsibilities
The Events Coordinator will:
- Interpret event contracts, deal points, and billing for each assigned event and ensure all contractual obligations are fulfilled.
- Manage budgets, setup, teardown, and follow-up processes for all event resources, including:
Materials
Branding
Signage
Gifts
Equipment
- Provide maximum customer satisfaction by visually inspecting installations to ensure they meet the required specifications and are delivered as anticipated.
- Supervise staff during events, assign duties, and provide general direction.
- Handle permits and venue requirements.
- Ensure all events meet safety, quality, and company brand standards.
- Prepare post-event reports containing photographs, feedback, and lessons learnt.
Skills and competencies
Applicants should have:
- Proven ability to lead teams and resolve difficulties related to production timelines and creativity.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Google Sheets.
- Knowledge of Canva.
- CAD and floor-plan skills will be an added advantage.
- Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong attention to detail and good analytical skills.
Qualifications and experience
Applicants must have:
- A degree or diploma in Events Management, Hospitality, Tourism, or a related field.
- Two to three years of experience in events coordination.
- Experience managing corporate events, conferences, and exhibitions. This is required.
