ELECTRICIAN (1 POSITION)
Employer: Kilimanjaro Plantation Ltd, Kibosho-Mweka, Kilimanjaro Region

Reports to: Farm Manager
Responsibilities or duties
- Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems safely and efficiently.
- Ensure that electrical equipment and installations operate properly within company facilities.
- Reduce electrical hazards by following safety standards and procedures.
- Provide technical advice regarding maintenance and proper use of electrical systems.
- Install electrical wiring, switches, sockets, and electrical equipment.
- Carry out regular inspections to identify electrical faults and hazards.
- Repair and maintain electrical systems, machinery, and equipment.
- Prepare maintenance and repair reports for supervisors.
- Carry out maintenance work and ensure compliance with company safety standards.
- Cooperate with other employees in carrying out maintenance and repair activities.
Qualifications or requirementsÂ
- Certificate in Electrical Installation/Trade from a recognized institution.
- Ability to identify and repair electrical faults effectively.
- Ability to use electrical tools and equipment safely.
- Ability to read and interpret electrical wiring diagrams and machine instructions.
- Integrity, reliability, and ability to work independently or as part of a team.
- Good understanding of workplace safety and use of personal protective equipment.
