Kilora Talent Partners is recruiting experienced and safety-conscious Drivers (Tanzanian Nationals) to provide corporate, private management, or goods transportation services across Tanzania. The position involves driving company personnel or cargo safely, conducting routine vehicle maintenance, managing fuel/mileage records, and adhering to national traffic regulations.

Key Responsibilities

1. Driving & Transportation Services

• Passenger & Cargo Transport: Provide safe, timely transportation for company management, staff, or goods in accordance with assigned schedules.
• Safety & Regulatory Compliance: Strictly obey Tanzanian road traffic laws, speed limits, and transport regulations to protect passengers, cargo, and fleet assets.
• Route Planning & Logistics: Plan optimal driving routes across regional and national transport corridors, managing driving time and schedules effectively.
• Cargo Handling (Truck Drivers): Transport goods safely, assisting with loading, offloading, weighbridge procedures, and delivery documentation as required.

2. Vehicle Care, Inspection & Fleet Administration

• Daily Inspections: Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle checks, routine cleaning, fluids verification, and basic maintenance; report mechanical defects promptly.
• Fleet Logs: Maintain accurate daily logbooks tracking fuel consumption, mileage, maintenance history, and vehicle movements.
• Asset Protection: Safeguard company vehicles, ignition keys, logbooks, insurance documents, and registration papers.

Qualifications & Requirements

Eligibility & Driving Credentials

• Nationality: Must be a Tanzanian National.
• Licensing: Valid Tanzanian Driving License matching the applied vehicle category (Class B, C, D, E, etc.).
• Driving Record: Clean driving record with no history of serious traffic violations or major at-fault accidents.

Experience & Competencies

• Experience: Proven experience driving passenger vehicles (Sedan, SUV, Land Cruiser) or commercial trucks (Light/Heavy Truck, Prime Mover, Trailer); long-distance transit experience is preferred.
• Route Knowledge: Thorough familiarity with local roads, major highways, and inter-regional transport routes in Tanzania.
• Attributes: Punctual, honest, physically fit, smooth driving style, basic vehicle mechanical knowledge, and basic English communication skills.

• Proven experience as a private, corporate, or commercial truck driver
• Light Vehicles (Sedan, SUV, Land Cruiser) & Commercial Vehicles (Light/Heavy Truck, Prime Mover)
• Basic vehicle mechanical knowledge
• Basic English communication skills
