Mitiki Park is seeking to recruit a qualified, energetic Director of Operations position to oversee it’s overall daily operations of Mitiki Park, and sister business, Mitiki Beverage, with the aim of sustaining overall positive performance gains, streamlining processes and promoting further growth for the Mitiki brand.

The Director of Operations will report to the Advisory Board

 

Roles and responsibility:

Growth: Design approaches to facilitate growth of the business

Fiscal Management: In liaison with the Finance Officer, jointly oversee budget monitoring, conduct expenditure analyses review, Oversee sales targets (weekly, monthly and annually),

Brand Enhancement: Enhance visibility of the Mitiki Brand, through internal and external innovative approaches such as Marketing  including social media platforms), Communications, and Entertainment and internal and  external networking opportunities.

Customer Experience and Satisfaction: Maintain an up to date database of existing and new customers.  Create (KYC) approaches to ensure maximum customer satisfaction ratings. Also maintain active customer feedback mechanisms through in person, virtual platforms, as needed, and other fora, to ensure issues are mitigated and effectively addressed in real time.

HR: Oversee staff recruitment and retainment of all staff, supervise payroll, Oversee   staff performance management.  Overall head of the unit heads(UHs), spearhead professional development strategies

Asset Management: Create and oversee stock  and inventory management system (s)

Compliance: Ensure company compliance with TRA, Local Government, OSHA. Fire Safety etc

Internal Controls: Enhance and oversee existing internal controls policies and procedures

Supervisory role:  Supervise the following unit heads: Manager, Mitiki Beverage Supply Chain Associate, Mitiki Park Customer Experience Associate, New Business Development Coordinator

Events Management: Provide regular direction to Customer Service Associate on  all stages of events planning for outdoor engagements

Food and Beverage:  Provide regular direction to Customer Service Associate to uphold and maintain standards to ensure both Mitiki restaurants maintain high quality foods and wide beverage options that meet customers satisfaction.

Grounds Management: Environment, Sanitation and Hygiene oversight, grounds management, Safety and Security

Other duties as necessary

Qualifications:

3 years comparable experience

Advanced diploma or degree from an accredited institution in preferably Marketing, Administration , Management
