What we’re looking Tables for
We are seeking a highly qualified and dedicated Tanzanian teacher to join our team. The ideal candidate will meet the following criteria:

  • Academic Qualifications: Holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Education from an accredited university within East Africa, with a strong academic track record.
  • Teaching Experience: A minimum of four (4) years of successful secondary school teaching experience in high-performing schools, with a proven record of excellence.
  • Leadership Experience: At least four (4) years of academic leadership experience in a secondary school setting, preferably from top-tier schools within East Africa.
  • Curriculum Delivery: Demonstrates strong ability to effectively deliver the NECTA curriculum using modern, learner-cantered teaching methods and strategies that support competency-based learning and assessments.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent written and spoken English skills, as English is the primary medium of instruction.
  • Professionalism: A well-rounded, mature, and independent professional with sound educational knowledge, who upholds high teaching ethics and brings a dynamic, passionate, and innovative approach to education.
  • Personal Attributes: A vibrant, diligent, and motivating individual who can inspire students and contribute positively to our school community.
  • Flexibility and Commitment: Willingness to adapt to the school’s diverse policies and procedures, including availability to work weekends when required.
  • Additional Skills: Certification in computer skills is an added advantage and proof of computer software skills.
  • Academic Procedure Development: Proven experience in developing and documenting academic procedures, including but not limited to budget planning, assessment practices, academic reporting, classroom management, and teaching timetables as per the school’s academic standards.
