Dental Therapist – 2 Positions

Job Summary

The Dental Therapist will provide preventive and basic therapeutic oral healthcare services while educating patients on good oral hygiene and dental health practices.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct dental examinations and basic oral health assessments.
• Provide appropriate preventive and therapeutic dental services within scope of practice.
• Perform oral hygiene procedures and other approved dental interventions.
• Provide dental health education to patients and communities.
• Promote preventive dental care and good oral hygiene practices.
• Maintain accurate dental records and treatment documentation.
• Prepare and maintain dental instruments and treatment areas.
• Follow infection prevention and sterilization procedures.
• Identify conditions requiring referral to a dentist or specialist.
• Work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals to support comprehensive patient care.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Relevant Diploma or Degree in Dental Therapy/Oral Health.
• Valid registration and practising licence with the relevant Professional Council.
• Good knowledge of dental procedures and infection prevention.
• Excellent communication and patient-care skills.
• Professional, compassionate, and detail-oriented approach.

Work Hours: 8

Experience in Months: 12

Level of Education: associate degree
