About the Role

Simara Enterprises (Simara Foods) is seeking a dependable, punctual, and highly responsible Delivery Driver to join our logistics team in Dar es Salaam. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring timely order deliveries, accurate document handling, basic vehicle maintenance, and providing excellent service to our clients.

Key Responsibilities

Order Delivery & Logistics: Safely, accurately, and punctually deliver customer orders along designated routes in Dar es Salaam.

Cargo Handling: Load, offload, and count goods against delivery notes to ensure 100% order accuracy. Assist with picking and packing orders when needed.

Documentation & Collections: Secure signed/stamped delivery receipts, handle customer payments/cheques as directed, and return all documentation promptly.

Vehicle Care: Keep the assigned company vehicle clean and in top working condition. Perform daily pre-trip inspections and report mechanical faults or delays immediately.

Customer Service: Maintain a professional, polite, and customer-focused attitude as a direct representative of Simara Foods.

Requirements & Qualifications

Experience: Proven track record as a professional driver (prior delivery or FMCG/food supply experience is highly desirable).

Valid Driving License: Active Tanzanian driving license with a clean driving record.

Mandatory Identification: Valid NIDA Identification (National ID / Number).

Clearance: Valid Police Clearance Certificate / Certificate of Good Conduct.

Route Knowledge: Deep familiarity with Dar es Salaam roads, key commercial routes, and surrounding suburban areas.

Personal Integrity: Exceptionally honest, punctual, and dependable individual who takes pride in treating company vehicles with utmost care.
