Job Summary:

The Auto Electrician will specialize in the electrical systems of heavy equipment, vehicles, or plant machinery. The role involves troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining electrical and electronic components to ensure operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

• Diagnose and repair electrical faults in engines, wiring, control systems, and instrumentation.
• Install, maintain, and test electrical components and systems in mobile or stationary equipment.
• Read and interpret electrical diagrams and schematics.
• Perform battery maintenance, charging system checks, and lighting system repairs.
• Ensure all work complies with safety and quality standards.
• Work independently to meet repair timelines.

Requirements:

• Relevant technical qualification (e.g., Certificate/Diploma in Auto Electrical, Electrical Engineering).
• Minimum of 3 years of proven experience as an auto electrician, preferably with heavy machinery or industrial vehicles.
• Proficiency in using electrical diagnostic tools and equipment.
• Strong safety awareness and good work ethics.
