MFI Group is seeking a dynamic and results-driven Assistant Marketing Manager to support the development and execution of strategic marketing initiatives across its operations in Africa. This position offers an exciting opportunity for a marketing professional who is passionate about brand building, digital marketing, content creation, and stakeholder engagement within a fast-paced, multi-country business environment.

The successful candidate will play a critical role in strengthening brand visibility, driving customer engagement, and supporting business growth through innovative marketing campaigns and data-driven decision-making. Working closely with country teams and key stakeholders, the Assistant Marketing Manager will help ensure consistent brand representation while adapting marketing strategies to diverse African markets.

Responsibilities

  • Support the development and implementation of marketing strategies aligned with organizational objectives.
  • Ensure brand consistency across all marketing and communication channels.
  • Maintain quality and consistency of the company's visual identity and brand assets.
  • Collaborate with country teams to localize and adapt marketing campaigns for different markets.
  • Support the creation and management of digital and physical marketing content.
  • Execute video marketing initiatives, including client testimonials, case studies, and educational content.
  • Conduct market research and competitor analysis to identify business opportunities and market trends.
  • Monitor and analyze marketing performance metrics to improve campaign effectiveness and return on investment.
  • Develop recommendations based on data insights and campaign results.
  • Plan, coordinate, and execute corporate events, exhibitions, and partner engagements.
  • Manage event logistics, including invitations, branding, venue setup, and post-event communications.
  • Serve as a liaison between internal departments, external stakeholders, media partners, and service providers.
  • Support the development of internal communication materials, newsletters, and company updates.
  • Assist in public relations activities and corporate storytelling initiatives.
  • Contribute to strengthening the company’s brand presence across African markets.
  • Support the implementation of marketing automation and operational processes.
  • Ensure timely delivery of marketing projects and initiatives.
  • Perform any other duties assigned by management.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Communications, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 3–5 years of professional experience in marketing, preferably within a B2B or technology-focused environment.
  • Proven experience in digital marketing, content creation, and event management.
  • Strong project management and organizational skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.
  • Experience working with stakeholders across different countries and markets.
  • Strong understanding of marketing strategy development and execution.
  • Excellent storytelling and content development skills.
  • Experience creating compelling written, visual, and video content.
  • Knowledge of digital marketing platforms, analytics tools, and marketing automation systems.
  • Experience in marketing operations and campaign performance tracking.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to translate data into actionable recommendations.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Experience working across African markets is highly desirable.
  • French language proficiency is an added advantage.
