JOB DETAILS:

Position Summary: DUCE is seeking an Assistant Librarian with expertise in Software Development to join its team. This role is essential for developing, managing, and maintaining digital resources and library software systems. The ideal candidate will contribute to the efficient functioning of the library’s digital infrastructure.

• Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage and maintain software applications related to the library’s resources.
  • Assist in the development of digital content and the integration of new library technologies.
  • Provide support and training to library staff and users on new systems.
• Eligibility Criteria:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
  • At least 2 years of experience in software development, preferably within a library or academic setting.
  • Strong technical skills in relevant programming languages and software development tools.
  • Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
