DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
i. Performing all medical tasks in the hospital related to various diseases
ii.in the relevant field.
iii. Teaching students in health colleges located in his/her area of work.
iv. To investigate, monitor and prevent disease outbreaks.
v. To prepare for the continuing education of health workers.
vi. To train and direct subordinate staff.
vii. Supervise the staff under him/her.
viii. Conduct and evaluate research and disseminate results.
ix. Design and prepare strategies to improve the quality of services in their field.
x.Provide outreach services in the region.
xi.Providing medical legal services
xii.Participate in developing and overseeing the implementation of Policies and Plans of the Government on health.
xiv. Advise the ministry on the operation of health activities in the country.
xv. Participate in the medical board committee for 2
xvi. Retiring employees due to health problems.
xvii.Preparing curricula for continuing education for health workers.
xviii.Prepare plans and budget estimates for health services,
QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE
To be employed with a Master's Degree in Medicine or PhD in the field of (anesthesia) from universities recognized by the Government. They must be registered with the Tanganyika Medical Council.
