Background
This role is crucial for maintaining the financial health and integrity of the company by managing accounts and ensuring timely credit collection. The position is within the finance department of TotalEnergies Marketing Tanzania Limited.
Responsibilities
The primary responsibilities include managing accounting records, performing credit control functions, and ensuring accuracy in financial reporting.
Qualifications and Requirements
Candidates must possess a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. A professional accounting certification such as CPA or ACCA is mandatory. Proficiency in accounting software, especially SAP, is required. Strong skills in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and Power BI are essential. The role demands high attention to detail, accuracy, and strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Experience Needed
A minimum of 3 years of experience in accounting and credit control is required.
