Job Summary:
The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining the integrity of financial records and ensuring compliance with accounting standards and regulatory requirements. This role requires a strong understanding of financial principles, analytical skills, and the ability to collaborate effectively across departments.
Key Responsibilities:
- Receive all incoming materials and reconcile with purchase orders
- Track, document, and resolve discrepancies in received orders
- Manage and control cost centers across the facility
- Update and maintain accurate inventory records, including physical inventory, receipts, adjustments, and returns
- Ensure optimal stock levels by managing supplies within set thresholds
- Handle petty cash and ensure proper documentation of all disbursements.
- Maintain organized records of sales, purchases, expenses, and compliance documents
- Keep up-to-date records of all stockroom transactions
- Assist in timely budget preparation in line with facility activities
- Maintain accurate supplier records and ensure professional relationships
- Monitor independent sales points (Bar, Restaurant, Rooms) to ensure accurate reporting
- Prepare and file Payroll, VAT, statutory payment like PAYE, SDL, WCF, NSSF, corporate tax, withholding tax etc.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
- At least 1-3 years of accounting experience preferred
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel and accounting software (e.g. QuickBooks, SAP, or similar Tally Software)
- Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
