JOB DETAILS:

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Assisting in the preparation of reagents and apparatus for analytical works;
2. Assisting in the reception of samples from geology department, small scale miners and mining companies;

   4. Assisting in conducting fire assay, base metals, major and trace elements analysis and water analysis;

5.Assisting in preparing samples for chemical analysis;

6.Assisting in  preparing samples  for  petrography,  mineral  processing  and mineralogical studies; and

7.Performing any other official duties assigned by his immediate Supervisor.

1.1.2 QUALIFICATION AND EXPERIENCE

Holder  of  form  IV/VI  certificate  and  Trade  Test  Grade  II/Level  II  or  Certificate  or Technicians Certificate in Mineral Laboratory from recognized institution.

Work Hours: 8

Experience in Months: 24

Level of Education: associate degree
