Qualifications:

 Lecturer

 Ph.D. in Cybersecurity or a closely related field (Computer Security, Information Security, Network Security, System Security, etc.).

 Master’s Degree in Cybersecurity or a closely related field (Computer Security, Information Security, Network Security, System Security, etc.), with G.PA of at least 4.0.

 A Bachelor’s Degree in a relevant field (Cybersecurity, Computer Security, Information Security, Network Security, Computer Science, Information Technology, Computer Networks, Information Systems, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, ICT, etc), with G.P.A of at least 3.5.

 A strong record of research publications in cybersecurity.

 Assistant Lecturer

 Master’s Degree in Cybersecurity or a closely related field (Computer Security, Information Security, Network Security, System Security, etc.), with G.PA of at least 4.0.

 A Bachelor’s Degree in a relevant field (Cybersecurity, Computer Security, Information Security, Network Security, Computer Science, Information Technology, Computer Networks, Information Systems, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, ICT, etc), with G.P.A of at least 3.5.

Essential Requirements:

 University-level teaching experience (2–3 years) in core cybersecurity and related subjects

 Strong ability to teach core cybersecurity subjects, including Cybersecurity, Network Security, Information Security, Cryptography, Digital Forensics, Ethical Hacking, Database Security, Vulnerability Analysis, System Administration, and Security Strategies (Windows/Unix/Linux), and other relevant subjects.

 Familiarity with Cyber Law, Cyber Warfare, and Cyber Risk Management.

 Proficiency / Experience in security tools such as Kali Linux, firewalls, Wireshark, SIEM (Security Information and Event Management systems), Intrusion Detection Systems (IDS), Intrusion Prevention Systems (IPS), penetration testing, vulnerability assessments, etc.

 Strong understanding of security protocols, cryptography, risk management, penetration testing, incident response, and operating systems security (Windows, Linux, Unix), etc.

 Knowledge of various cybersecurity frameworks (e.g., NIST, ISO 27001, etc.)

 Ability to develop and deliver curriculum on cybersecurity topics.

 Research experience and willingness to research cybersecurity and related topics
