Qualifications:

 Lecturer

 Ph.D. in Computer Science or a closely related field (Information Technology, Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, Information Systems, ICT, Computer Networks and Communication, Artificial Intelligence, Data Science, etc.).

 Master’s Degree in Computer Science or a closely related field (Information Technology, Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, Information Systems, ICT, Computer Networks and Communication, Artificial Intelligence, Data Science, etc.), with G.PA of at least 4.0.

 Bachelor’s Degree in a relevant field (Information Technology, Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, Information Systems, ICT, Computer Networks and Communication, Artificial Intelligence, Data Science, etc.), with G.P.A of at least 3.5.

 A strong record of research publications in Computer Science or related areas.

 Assistant Lecturer

 Master’s Degree in Computer Science or a closely related field (Information Technology, Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, Information Systems, ICT, Computer Networks and Communication, Artificial Intelligence, Data Science, etc.), with G.PA of at least 4.0.

 Bachelor’s Degree in a relevant field (Information Technology, Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, Information Systems, ICT, Computer Networks and Communication, Artificial Intelligence, Data Science, etc.), with G.P.A of at least 3.5. Essential Requirements:

 University-level teaching experience (2–3 years) in core Computer Science and related subjects,

 Strong ability to teach core Computer Science subjects, including Data Structures, Algorithms, Web app development, Mobile app development, Software Engineering, Human-Computer Interaction, Software Testing and Integration, Database Systems, Elearning, Software Development Management, Operating Systems, Distributed Systems, Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, Computer Networks, Computer Architecture, Programming Languages, and other relevant subjects.

 Familiarity with current trends in Computer Science, including Big Data, the Internet of Things (IoT), Blockchain, Cloud Computing, etc.

 Proficiency in programming languages such as Java, Python, C++, JavaScript, and VB.NE, SQL, and other relevant languages for teaching and practical applications.

 Strong understanding of software development methodologies, including Agile and DevOps practices, along with hands-on experience with computer science frameworks and tools such as Git, Docker, Kubernetes, and various development environments

 Ability to develop and deliver curriculum on Computer Science topics.

 Research experience and willingness to conduct research in Computer Science and related areas.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

 Teaching responsibilities will include undergraduate courses and supervision of students’ research in relevant areas of specialization.

 Maintaining an active research program that involves conducting research in the area of specialization, publishing in peer-reviewed journals, securing external research funding, and contributing to the academic reputation of the University.

 Designing and developing undergraduate and graduate academic programs, ensuring alignment with current academic standards, industry demands, and emerging technological trends.

 Conducting seminars, tutorials, workshops, and other academic activities to enhance student learning, critical thinking, and engagement.

 Participating in curriculum review and quality assurance processes, ensuring continuous improvement of academic content and delivery.

 Providing academic advising and mentorship to students, supporting their academic growth, research activities, and career development.

 Contributing to departmental, faculty, and university-wide committees or initiatives, supporting academic governance and community outreach.

 Any other duties as may be assigned by the University in line with academic and institutional responsibilities.
