JOB DETAILS:

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES           

i. Providing advice and supervising the best methods for the distribution of clean and safe water and waste disposal.

ii. Educating the community on methods of prevention and combating disease outbreaks.

iii. Collecting and analyzing Environmental Health data.

iv. Supervising the implementation of Environmental Health Laws.

v. Preparing implementation reports and submitting them to the relevant authorities.

vi. Preparing and monitoring strategies to improve and manage occupational safety and health.

vii. Ensuring health at ports and borders.

viii. Coordinating and supervising inspections of food, water, chemicals, industries, workplaces and community areas.

ix. Performing other tasks assigned by his/her superior related to his/her education, experience and skills

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE  

To be employed with a Bachelor's Degree in Environmental Health Sciences and on-the-job training from a Government-recognized institution and be registered with the Environmental Health Professionals Board
