Job Summary:
The Sales & Marketing Officer is responsible for driving business growth by identifying sales opportunities, building client relationships, and executing marketing strategies to promote products/services.
Key Responsibilities:
Sales & Business Development:
- Identify and pursue new sales leads through research, networking, and cold outreach.
- Conduct product/service presentations to potential clients.
- Negotiate contracts and close deals to meet sales targets.
- Maintain and grow relationships with existing clients for repeat business.
Marketing & Promotion:
- Assist in developing and implementing marketing strategies (digital, print, events).
- Create engaging content for social media, email campaigns, and advertisements.
- Monitor market trends and competitor activities to identify opportunities.
- Represent the company at trade shows, exhibitions, and networking events.
Reporting & Analysis:
- Track sales performance and prepare weekly/monthly reports.
- Analyze customer feedback and market data to refine strategies.
- Maintain accurate records of client interactions in CRM systems.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, or related field.
- Experience: 2+ years in sales/marketing (industry-specific experience preferred).
- Skills:
- Strong communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Proficiency in digital marketing tools (e.g., SEO, social media, Google Analytics).
- Familiarity with CRM software (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot).
- Creative thinking and problem-solving abilities.
- Attributes:
- Self-motivated with a results-driven approach.
- Ability to work independently and in a team.
