For NSS Staff Responsibilities include;
a) Network monitoring:
• Support NOC Department to identify Root cause for alarms in NSS systems.
• Training NOC Department and Prepare Guideline for new identified problems.
• Training NOC Department for new deployed feature or system in Core NSS
• Training NOC Operating to handle all NSS alarms and problems in the system as prescription.
• Updated the important alarms to NOC Department to prioritize the monitoring.
• Provide technical support to NOC Department on Escalation of problem to Other MNOs.
b)Coordinate:
• Coordinate with Customer care Department to resolve customer complains.
• Coordinate with Radio Department to identify problems for service quality failure and share knowledge and experience from Core NSS.
• Cooperate with other MNOs to Trouble shoot interconnection related problems.
• Update and submit to approval Core network diagram and explain to NOC Department.
• Preside to operate and test the new number phones and new mobile services.
• Coordinate with Transmission to identify Root cause of problem whoever incident occurs and co work to resolve.
c) Executive and Planning:
• Plan for new connection based on system requirement.
• Prepare and Arrange for TDM/SIP connection with other partner (MNOs) whenever it may be required.
• Perform inbound Roaming Configuration in MSC and Support Outbound roaming partner for Testing service and resolve problems.
• Evaluate performance and Capacity utilisation of existing connection and suggest expansion approval from HOD.
• Arrange and Coordinate with partner during implementations after being approved based on technical requirements.
• Co work with Business team and Implement Technical Task assigned from Halotel Business Team.
• Share Technical Experience with Halotel Business Team especially on negotiation with other partner for Technical related matters.
• Coordinate with all pre-defined life safety authority for technical support whenever interconnection problem occurs,
• Analyse cause for KPI drop and insure Target is attained.
• Evaluate Daily KPI sent from NOC Dept. and find cause for Drop KPI.
• Hand over all knowledge to other team member and share experience.
• Coordinate to check and evaluate the effective utilisation and recommend increase or lessen the internal Network nodes (MSC,MGW,U2000 etc).
• To be synchronized and coordinate with Viettel Global Technical support whenever necessary.

For BSS Staff Responsibilities include;
a) Level 1 in supervising of BTS/NodeB:
• Supervise all alarms on the OSS system and NocPro software.
• Periodic to check the operation status of devices, connections and update the important alarms to priority for monitoring
b) Executive, coordinate:
• Coordinate and operate handling all problems related to: BTS, NodeB ,eNodeB and other access mobile equipment.
• Analyse the causes and propose the solutions for trouble shooting.
• Daily collect and operate handling all alarms related to: BTS, NodeB and other access mobile equipment.
• Urge on handling pending alarm on monitoring client system.
• Change parameter related to BTS, NodeB when received the requirement.
• Control all impact on the network under the jurisdiction.
• Support related units to implement the irregularly job.
c) Collect the report, handover cases:
• Update all information in the daily problem report.
• Collect data and do period reports by weekly/ monthly/ quarterly.
• Note the detailed information on record book.
• Handover all done and pending job to next shift.

Requirements and Qualifications:
• University graduate of field: Electronics – Telecommunications
• Understand, have a through grasp of GSM, WCDMA technology.
• Skill in use English: read, understand English documents.
• Skill of informatics: quite, professional in use on software for job.

Transmission Department Staff - Internet Protocol (IP - Transmission) Engineer

 Responsibilities
• Configure & commission MPBN, DCN, IPBN, ME nodes.
• Participate in IP network planning.
• Upgrade MPBN, DCN, IPBN, ME equipment software version.
• Update the logic diagrams of MPBN, DCN, IPBN, ME network.
• Propose and join in optimizing MPBN, DCN, IPBN, ME networks.
• Ensure IP network security is achieved and maintained.
• Optimization of IP network to ensure better Transmission network performance.
• Join in IP/Transmission network troubleshooting and faults resolution.
• Cooperate with other units to implement IP based configurations and routing.
• Prepare and submit reports of assigned tasks to his/her superiors regularly and/or upon request.
• Perform other tasks as assigned by direct supervisor.

Requirements and Qualifications:
• Bachelor degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Telecommunications Engineering, Information Technology or any other related field.
• Professional certification like CCNA will be an added advantage.

To plan, organize and lead a team of Payments Systems Support Analyst to deliver cost effective and efficient ICT level 2 support services for all Payment Systems which are not Core Banking System To ensure that they meet and exceed business and customers’ expectations (availability, recoverability, security and continuous improvement).

Main Responsibilities:
• Implement and co-ordinate an effective Payments systems support
• Plan, supervise, direct, reporting and administration of the second level support team(s) on issues pertaining to Payments systems.
• Supervise, implement, maintain and improve performance of all Payments systems
• Escalate incidents and problems to 3rd level support, follow-up & feedback on the progress made for resolution, conduct weekly meeting with Payments systems vendor to resolve all outstanding issues.
• Plan and conduct simulation of EOM and EOY runs in Collaboration with CBS team in order to eliminate any unforeseen incidents for successful completion of EOD/EOM/EOY batch runs.
• Maintain the Risk Register and controls policy frameworks for all Payments systems applications and ensure they are updated on an annual basis, engage Payments systems staff in Risk policy implementation
• Manage operational costs; perform cost-benefit and return on investment analyses for proposed solutions.
• Manage relationships with all vendors of Payments Systems and ensure effective routine and emergency maintenance of payment systems with no or very rarely downtime and interruption to business operations.
• Provide capacity planning statistics and periodic reports to aid in management decisions.
• Knowledge and Skills:
• Payments Systems domain knowledge
• Banking operations.
• Regulatory knowledge in payment systems domain.
• Compliance (AML, Fraud, and sanction screening) knowledge in payment systems domain.

Qualifications and Experience:
• Bachelors’ Degree in Computer Science or equivalent qualification
