Overall Responsibility
The Snr. Technician /Technician is responsible to assemble, maintain and repair machinery in the workshop or at the premises of the customer. He will be responsible for ensuring functionality and reliability of machines, engines and mechanical and electrical systems. They must also have manual dexterity and great attention to detail. They must be able to work with various machines and tools as well as follow all safety precautions

Key Responsibilities
• Do daily and weekly planning in conjunction with supervisor
• Build and assemble machines or mechanical components according to requirements
• Inspect machines, engines, transmissions etc. and run diagnostic tests to discover functionality issues

JOB DETAILS:
EACOP project includes a 1,445km 24” oil export pipeline, 8 above ground facilities, a green filed marine terminal with an export jetty and a serie of 60 main line block valves and +20 trace heating stations. 150km of feeder lines from Upstream facilities will tie-in to the EACOP project. The project contracting strategy entails 8 main packages to be executed through 15 different main Contracts. An EPcmC Contractor is in charge of Detailed Engineering, Procurement and construction management support interfacing with all other Contractors. EACOP direct personnel, including partners secondees will be more that 600 at peak periods during the execution phase of the project and up to 8,000 to 10,000 personnel, when including Contractors, expected to be mobilized across the various sites for construction activities. The pipeline project will be the largest privately led with Government participation transnational infrastructure project ever undertaken in the East African region. The context is complex with numerous stakeholders, environmental and societal / local content stakes, three partners, two involved countries new to oil development (Uganda and Tanzania), and the need for project development in accordance with IFC standards to secure the necessary financing.

Main Responsibilities:

• Act as the EPcmC Project ‘Subject Matter Expert’ on NDE issues:
• Develop & update CPY CTR’s, Sub-CTR’s & Suppliers’ relevant project specifications and support them to comply with by:
• Performing NDE system evaluation (NDE during line-pipe manufacturing and pipeline, piping and structural, pressure vessel & storage tanks welding and static & rotating equipment manufacturing),
• Guarantee the development of CPY CTRs’, Sub-CTR’, Suppliers’ technical procedures qualification and final approval,
• Witnessing (and guiding where necessary) procedures and operator qualification tests at site,
• Providing guidance to NDE operators at manufacturing premises and on construction site,
• Supervising AUT/PA qualifications & other conventional NDE (X-R, MT/PT) on every system according to Project specifications,
• Cross-checks at CPY CTR’s, Sub-CTR’s & Suppliers’ workshops & Support in the selection & recruitment of NDE operators & inspectors.
• Have the skills and knowledge to interpret codes, standards, and other contractual documents the control NDE methods used by the company.
• Capable of assuming technical responsibility for the NDE facilities and the staff.
• Capable of selecting the method and technique for a specific inspection.
• Prepare and verify the adequate procedures in the method certified.
• Approve NDE procedures and other NDE related work instructions for technical adequacy in the method in which they are certified
• Audit the current personnel to current customer requirements in NDE methods as needed.
• Provide training and guidance to personnel in determining pass/fail criteria.
• Conduct inspection to ensure quality, detect discontinuities using ultrasonic equipment.

To provide an accurate, timely, and qualitative dispensing service of drugs according to medical prescriptions and Medical Teams International’s protocols, standards, and procedures in order to improve the patient’s health conditions.

Job Responsibilities
• Dispenses medication to patients according to medical prescription, ensuring the medication is labeled with the correct drug name, strength, quantity, expiry date, directions for use and additional required information and providing clear instructions and advice on how to take the drug, when, how long, how to store, possible side-effects and any other relevant warnings. Making sure the patient understands in order to ensure correct treatment.
• Adhering to Medical Teams International’s practice policies and procedures for dispensing medicines, in particular those relating to controlled drugs and ensuring respect of confidentiality in dispensing
• Placing accurate and timely orders with the central stock, maintaining minimum stock levels of medicines, checking expiry dates and storage conditions and ensuring no medicines or material are taken out of the dispensary without authorization.
• Maintaining accurate dispensing records and regularly reporting them to his/her technical reference. Ensuring returned and out-of-date medication is safely removed to a well designated quarantine zone for unwanted pharmaceuticals, separated from the normal stock.
• Organizing and keeping clean the dispensing area, ensuring cleanliness and care in handling medicines to avoid contamination and mix-up. Maintaining dispensary equipment, ensuring it is clean, accurate and in a good state of repair.
• Maintaining the integrity and security of the dispensary by admitting only authorized personnel and ensuring that all medicines are stored as appropriate. Reporting immediately to the technical reference on any problem arising in the service (especially loss, robbery, quality problems with medicines (abnormal changes in colour, consistency, and odour) damage of medical equipment or medicines).
• Carrying out Patient Therapeutic Education (PTE) and interacting with patient using a patient-based approach to accompany chronic disease (HIV, TB, etc.) patients along their visits. Receiving patients, informing about treatment and adherence, giving appointment for the next drug delivery. Informing the medical doctor in case of lack of adherence and identifying the reasons and finding solutions to improve adherence.
• Understanding, recording and informing on any complaint received from patients related to medicine use or side effects.
• Support safeguarding of program participants and employees through promoting an environment of awareness and upholding the code of conduct provisions of Medical Teams Protection from Sexual Exploitation & Abuse, Child & Vulnerable Adult protection, and harassment-free workplace policies.
