Qualifications
• Bachelor degree in Industrial Engineering or Water Resources and Irrigation Engineering

• Able to perform necessary Instructed sales and service engineering task in various conditions/ climates

We are looking for a talented person to join our team as a Warehouse Associate. The person will provide full support to the Warehouse department. The preferred candidates should be ready to learn and work with smart and caring colleagues who will bring the best out of his/her abilities. As a Warehouse Associate, you will be empowered while being held accountable.

Duties and Responsibilities:
• Inventory management – perform cycle counts, complete reconciliations, monitor inventory transactions, continually sort out inventory issues as they arise.
• Update all transactions in the APP (warehouse management system).
• Receive and verify quantity and condition of products coming from suppliers and inter-warehouse transfers.
• Check re-order level of products in the warehouse to ensure we don’t have any stocks outs.
• Ensure that all paperwork is correctly prepared and handed directly to the Supervisor for approval.
• Work closely with the Supervisor on all matters within the warehouse & advise management of unsafe conditions, and provide recommendations for improvement.
• To identify continuous improvement opportunities & actively participate in improvement events.
• Demonstrates flexibility and handles changing workload, stress, the fast-paced environment we work in and the urgent shifts in customer priorities.
• Make sure work area is clean and organized at all times.
• Knowledge of Goods-In process would be desirable.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Good working knowledge of material systems, process controls, warehousing and logistics within FMCG industry.
• Able to challenge and review current processes, creating the strongest levels of efficiency.
• Demonstrable good excel spreadsheet data manipulation skills.
• Basic knowledge of inventory and Logistics.
• Possess knowledge of computer operations, WMS working knowledge.

On behalf of one of our Tanzania based client, we are looking for a competent and experienced Category Channel Sales Development Lead.

Job Summary:
The Job holder will be reporting to CEO Tanzania and required to adapt channel strategies to category needs. Develop commercial plan to maximize channel throughout the category. Ensure sustainable category growth and increase in Market Share in the country.

Main responsibilities:
• Understand shopper behaviour in the various channels in the country.
• Support the development of the holistic category channel strategy for Tanzania.
• Provide inputs to Category Teams for Business Category Plan (BCP) and subcategory Innovations.
• Anchor demand planning.
• Provide a toolkit to sales team to enable disciplined execution.
• Ensure that category volume/value and market share are achieved by country within category allocated budgets.
• Translate Market category and brand objectives into country/channel category objectives in coordination with the sales teams.
• Champion strategic regional activities and country specific promotional process per category (defining objectives, briefing, coordinating the implementation, and evaluating all promotions) aimed at driving category growth within country.
• Ensure effective new product launches and/or line extensions on a country level through the implementation plan and organizing category roadshows/ presentations for the sales teams.
• Develop a local Commercial Plan (Objective, Strategies, Tactics, and Activities) for the country from a category and channel perspective.
• Adapt clear channel strategies based on consumer insights, resulting in tangible value creation with focus on product, pack, price & promo strategy.

Financial Management
• Preparation of the Advertising and Promotions budget by category.
• Accountable for Advertising and Promotions Spend in the country.

Qualifications and Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in business administration or related field. Master’s degree in business Administration preferred. Marketing Professional certification desirable.
• Excellent track record of leadership and team building, driving the development and evolution of entrepreneurial, high-performance cultures.
• 8 to 10 years of experience in FMCG Industry preferably Sales is a must.

JOB DETAILS:
The Sales Executive will manage an assigned geographical area which may include towns/villages and several distributor territories in terms of achieving the primary and secondary sales targets/ distribution and other Key Performance Indicators. Lead and motivate Area Distributors, VSM’s and their staff in his/her assigned area to achieve the planned volume, market share, NSV and NR targets

Accountabilities
• Coaching & Accompaniment of VSM’s – SE are responsible for coaching as part of Diageo’s toolkit.
• Area Distributor Primary and Secondary Sales Performance Management SE is responsible for Secondary sales management through stockiest and retail. On primary he/she will be working with Distributor manager to drive primary sales plan that was agreed with Distributor. Responsible for management and execution in Top 10-15 outlets including stockiest. He/she takes orders and passes them to VSM or distributor and ensures delivery. Adhere to own journey plan of stockiest, top outlets.
• From time to time SE will be representing Distribution Manager to communicate with Distributor. On secondary sales, SE have two fronts; communicating with Distributor on secondary sales initiatives, training and driving of VSMs on sales Force effectiveness to achieve targets. Secondary sales initiatives includes but not limited to agreeing secondary sales initiatives with Customer Marketing and managing those secondary sales initiatives. Some of the secondary sales initiatives include 3-wheeler project, stockiest incentive etc.
• New Distribution point Appointment – Identification of potential areas for new distributors and stockiest. This is to facilitate effective and efficient stock movement to achieve primary and secondary sales target for his/her area. It also include understanding and owning KYC process for recruitment of new business partners.
• Account Development: He/she will be responsible for joint activities that are done between Top outlets and SBL to increase sale and market share. These may include;
• Outlet execution for certain sales drivers to pull consumer towards certain brands/category i.e., Outlet visibility, price initiatives, consumer offers/promotions etc.
• Innovation drive to push for innovation brand
• Price compliance and availability
• POS and visibility; cooler execution
• Listing of new sku’s and new brands
• Drive sales and inform distributor of empties, OOS etc.
• Collect competitive intelligence
• Execute nationally coordinated activations in outlet
• Distributor Health and Profitability
• – She/he is responsible for growing his/her distributor by being a logistic provider to a strategic partner with SBL.
• Measures shall be distributor operation are improving in quality in terms of ordering, receiving and distribution of stock, efficient in secondary distribution in terms of trucks, routes and staff capability, and automation of distributor operations.
• He will be working with Distributor Manager to make sure the distributor remain profitable throughout.
• He will also make sure SBL operates in an efficient way with distributor on making sure our investments with distributor have a healthy return on investment.
• He/she will be responsible on highlighting red flags whenever distributor operations and performance are jeopardizing SBL objectives.

Qualifications and experience required
• Must have at least college graduate (Diploma and above) with mathematical and analytical skills, preferably business administration.
