Job Summary.
As the maintenance manager, you will be responsible for managing all installation, repair, and upkeep operations of our company’s facilities. Your duties will include maintaining machinery, planning repair activities, and developing maintenance procedures.

Responsibilities;
• Leading the site ( soaps, Detergents, Sulphonation, Silicate &Utility) maintenance function in providing both reactive and proactive, multi-skilled maintenance service on all operational equipment and facilities infrastructure.
• Manage the daily operations of the Maintenance department ensuring compliance, safety, and best practices for corrective and preventive maintenance procedures are followed including accurate completion of the PM program.
• Training the new management trainee engineers.
• Establish, implement, train and monitor maintenance guidelines for the maintenance teams, including safety on the job and preventive maintenance.
• Ensuring that the facilities, layout, and machinery run to maximum efficiency and output.
• Implement and manage continuous improvement and modern manufacturing principles by highlighting deficiencies and recommending changes in training, working practices, and processes.
• Doing the erection and commissioning of new equipment, and projects.
• Scheduling both internal and external works maximizing planned downtime and reducing unplanned downtime.
• Handling the operation and maintenance of utility equipment.
• Reporting the Key Performance Indicators (KPI) for each area of responsibility.
• Reporting KPI, OEE, and Weekly Project Status Updates(presentation).
• Managing SAP activities related to PM module, MDG (material code creation and extension).
• Manage contractors on-site to ensure they meet legal and company requirements and safety regulations.
• Motivate and coach the team to operational success.

Requirements
• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a similar field is preferred.
• A minimum of 5 years experience in maintenance.
• Good understanding of the technical features in maintenance.
• Strong knowledge facilities machines and equipment.
• Excellent organizational and leadership abilities.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.

Duties and Responsibilities:
• Accountable for the quality and workmanship of every activity, precise knowledge of all aspects of engineering construction relating to Civil, Architectural, and Structural discipline interfacing the multidisciplinary processes.
• Responsible for QA/QC documents of the complete project including certificates, calibration, test results, inspection requests, non-compliance reports and site instruction/observations, permanent materials delivered, and other important QA/QC documents.
• Develop and determine all standards to perform inspection and tests on all procedures and oversee all testing methods and maintain high standards of quality for all processes.
• Review the quality of all materials at the site and ensure compliance with all project specifications and quality and collaborate with the department for all material procurement and maintain a quality of materials.
• Supervise the effective implementation of all test and inspection schedules and ensure adherence to all procedures and coordinate with various teams to perform quality audits on processes.
• Assist with employees to ensure knowledge of all quality standards and ensure compliance to all quality manuals and procedures and collaborate with contractors and suppliers to maintain the quality of all systems.
• Manage to lift all types of equipment and handle the efficient storage of all hazardous materials and perform quality audits as perthe required schedule.
• Analyze all products and non-conformance processes and evaluate all documents to ensure the maintenance of optimal quality and prepare monthly reports to evaluate performance.
• Monitor an efficient system and record for all project activities and analyze all processes to ensure all work according to quality requirements.
• Manage all work methods and maintain knowledge on all quality assurance standards and monitor continuous application for all quality assurance processes and recommend corrective actions for all processes.
• Develop a method statement for the activity including risk assessment and job safety environmental analysis and Inspection Test Plan and Checklist based on specifications of the project.
• Liaise the Technical Engineer for submission of material submittals to Consultant
• Coordinate with the consultant’s representative and Site In-charge for inspection.

Minimum Qualifications: –
• Candidates should possess a degree in engineering, architecture, or planning.
• Not less than 3 years of working Experience in industrial construction project.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work in a cross-functional team environment.
• Extremely detail-oriented
• Great troubleshooting skills.
• Working knowledge of product development and manufacturing processes.
• Excellent organization and time-management.
• Ability to juggle multiple projects simultaneously.
• PC software proficiency.

• Manage, design, develop, create and maintain small-scale through to large-scale construction projects in a safe, timely and sustainable manner
• Conduct on site investigations and analyze data (maps, reports, tests, drawings and other)
• Carry out technical and feasibility studies and draw up blueprints that satisfy technical specifications
• Assess potential risks, materials and costs
• Provide advice and resolve creatively any emerging problems/deficiencies
• Oversee and mentor staff and liaise with a variety of stakeholders

Minimum Qualifications: –

• Must be Computer literate.
• Proficiency in written and spoken English is mandatory:
• Must be a Tanzanian Citizen:
• Not less than 3 years working experience, working in earth work projects (civil works).

• Overseeing site building work
• Undertaking surveys
• Setting out sites
• Checking technical designs and drawings to ensure that they are followed correctly
• Supervising contracted staff
• Ensuring project packages meet agreed specifications, budgets and/or timescales
• Liaising with clients, subcontractors and other professional staff, especially Quantity Surveyors and the overall Project Manager
• Providing technical advice and solving problems on site
• Preparing site reports and filling in other paperwork
• Liaising with quantity surveyors about the ordering and the pricing of materials
• Ensuring that health and safety and sustainability policies and legislation are adhered to.

Minimum Qualifications:
• Must have a Bachelor Degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent from any recognized Higher Learning Institution:
• Graduate registered as Professional Engineer
• Proven working experience in civil Engineering minimum 3 years.
• Excellent knowledge of design and visualizations software such as AutoCAD, Civil 3D or similar
• Proficiency in site layout, grading, utility design, erosion control, regulatory approvals etc
• Project management and supervision skills
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Project experience as added advantage.

• To receive instructions from Driller and Assistant Driller;
• To receive and verify the status of operations and equipment handover for the previous shift before beginning of new shift;
• To assist in setting up the equipment necessary for the assigned shift, i.e. drill pipes and other tubular material, x-over, etc;
• To assist with rig down/rig up operations;
• To work on the rig floor during drilling, connecting pipes & running casings;
• To mix drilling fluids;
• To conduct Minor servicing and greasing of tools on the rig floor;
• To sort and maintaining tools on the rig floor;
• To assist in preparing tallies of tools;
• To ensure that all orders and instructions received verbally or in writing are fully understood and adhered to;
• To be safety conscious in all work and use personal protective equipment;
• To be responsible for safe working conditions on the rig at all times;
• To be familiar with all relevant work and safety procedures issued by Company and Operator;
• To take part in emergency drills and safety meetings;
• To report all accidents, near-miss accidents and non-conformance through the proper channels; and
• To ensure that good housekeeping is maintained on the drill floor.

Qualification And Experience
• Holder of Form Four Certificate, NVA Level II/ Level III in Mechanics/Electro mechanics/Electrical from a recognized training institution.
• Knowledge in Safety and communication skills, Fluent in the English and Swahili language, experience with coring and air-hammer drilling will be an added advantage.

• To ensure that all orders and instructions received verbally or in writing are fully understood and adhered to;
• To be safety conscious in all work and use personal protective equipment;
• To be responsible for safe working conditions on the rig at all times;
• To assist Driller to ensure that crew uses personal protective equipment;
• To be familiar with all relevant work and safety procedures issued by Company and Operator;
• To take part in emergency drills and safety meetings;
• To issue Safe job analysis before start-up of non-routine operation or job and ensure completion of risk assessments where required;
• To instruct all personnel assigned to assist the assistant driller of their duties and responsibilities and of any special safety precautions to be taken before start-up of any work;
• To report all accidents, near-miss accidents and non-conformance through proper channels;
• To ensure that good housekeeping is maintained on the drill floor.

Qualification And Experience
• Holder of Form Four Certificate, VETA certified NVA Level III/ Level II in Mechanics / Electrical from a recognized training institution.
• Safety knowledge and communication skills Proficient in computers, confident with Microsoft Packages: Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint etc.
• Experience with coring and air-hammer drilling and Fluent in the English and Swahili language will be an added advantage.
