Who are you

• Excellent technical knowledge of network and PC hardware, including Microsoft platform.
• Hands-on hardware troubleshooting experience.
• Extensive equipment support experience with PC’s.
• Working technical knowledge of current network protocols, operating systems, and standards.
• Ability to operate tools, components, and peripheral accessories.
• Able to read and understand technical manuals, procedural documentation, and OEM guides. Ability to conduct research into PC issues and products as required.
• Aware of CCTV Protocols, installation and management

What you’ll do
• Ensuring all tickets are attended to in a timely manner
• Responding to client support queries ensuring proper documentation on the ticketing system as per procedures.
• Diagnosing issues with computer software, peripherals, and hardware.
• Running software diagnostic tools and physically inspecting hardware systems.
• Training clients through basic problem-solving processes.
• Installing and upgrading hardware and software systems as per required standards.
• Maintaining and ensure all school computers are being prepared well to meet the user effective performance. This by ensuring the latest update for both OS and security application are in place.
• Ensure all supplies/consumables are in place and inform for outage stock
• Works in conjunction with Head of IT to ensure all system configurations and modifications are documented.
• Works in conjunction with Head of IT in the preparation, implementation and follow up of IT department procedures
• Assist in writing of IT equipment’s gate passes in cases when the Head of IT is not at work.

What we’re looking for

• A university graduate majoring in Information technology, Computer Engineering or Computer Science At least two years of experience in a similar position.
• Excellent technical knowledge of network and PC hardware, including Microsoft platform.

Who are you
• Administrator for all Network environments within the School to ensure that the network is not overloaded.
• A person who propose applicable design and configure LAN/WAN while monitoring the health of the Network.
• Check the Network daily including Network routing and IP Protocols.
• Provider and administration and support for all networking protocols.
• Foresee, Detect, translate and prevent any Network intrusion and pre-scan all vulnerabilities.

What you’ll do
• Asses all access points and ensuring all security protocols meet the required policies
• Manage and deploy Virtual Lan Infrastructure and ensuring security is implemented as per the policies
• Analyse network problems and affect LAN recovery following outages or service interruptions
• Maintains network operating systems and hardware to the most current approved levels.
• Applies patches and updates to network application software.
• Works in conjunction with Head of IT to ensure all Network configurations and modifications are documented.

What we’re looking for
• A Bachelor’s Degree or in Computer Information Systems/Technology, Computer Science with a focus in the field of networking;
• At least minimum of 3 years of network-related experience;
• Experience in Network traffic monitoring and Load Balancing.
• Understanding of server concepts – DNS, AD, SMTP, IMAP/POP3, Proxy, and Virtual Machines
• Cisco knowledge, at least CCNA/CCNP with experience in routing; BGP, OSPF, VPN, VLAN and Qos
• Knowledge in Network Security
• Proficient and hands-on experience in inter networking technologies TCP/IP, L2 and L3 switching, stack and High-level network troubleshooting;
• Knowledge and experience with network security, Network Access Control including firewalls, proxies, site-to-site VPN in an office environment;
• Good communication skills
• Good English skills (reading and writing).

Bulyanhulu is situated in northwest Tanzania, in the Kahama district of the Shinyanga region, approximately 55 kilometers south of Lake Victoria and 150 kilometers southwest of the city of Mwanza. Bulyanhulu is a narrow-vein gold mine containing gold, silver, and copper mineralization in sulphides. The mineralization of Bulyanhulu is associated with a number of steeply-dipping veins. Bulyanhulu commenced commercial production in 2001.

Responsibilities
• Using a variety of software packages, such as Microsoft Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel, Access, etc. to produce correspondence and documents, and maintain presentations, spread sheets and databases
• Ensure Mining department documents control.
• Ordering of material for Entire Mining Section and ensure are delivered on time
• Maintaining stationery and equipment supplies
• Manage and report Minimum and maximum of material availability.
