JOB DETAILS:
Key Responsibilities:
• To assist the Assistant Spa Manager with the supervision, management and growth of the staff.
• To effectively manage the spa in the absence of the Assistant Spa Manager.
• To follow proper attendance sheets, over time sheet, transportation and tips procedures
• To supervise all the Spa staff including reception, therapist and attendant.
• To create spa roster, revise, manage and be ready to organize any unexpected situation.
• To participate in management meetings.
• To assist the Assistant Spa Manager with the supervision, management and growth of the staff.

• To process monthly inventory for retail products and supervise Spa Receptionist to maintain the area clean and attractive. Act as a role model and ensure high level of guest satisfaction is maintained.
• Monitor operating and generate necessary purchase orders and requisitions, under Assistant Spa Manager Guideline
• Conduct walkthroughs around the spa facilities, report deficiencies report to the concerned department.
• Review all suggestions and comments from guests and give the appropriate follow up with the Assistant spa Manager.
• Organizing of all operation manuals for the department and implement training sessions to ensure the growth of the department.
• Held regular departmental meetings and daily briefings to assist in communication within department. Assisting the Assistant Spa Manager in implementing staffing guidelines, discipline, operational procedures and developing new spa treatments.
• The ability to respond properly in any hotel emergency or safety situation.
• To work as a team with the Spa Receptionist to create energizing activities to motivated the team in improved Spa revenue.
• Is proficient in the use of the spa reservations software. To ensure Golden to use by Spa Reception in enhancing Guest Recognition Attends all scheduled training sessions. Comply with Four Seasons' Category One and Category Two Work Rules and Standards of
• Conduct as set forth in Employee handbook.
• Other assigned duties by the management

Major duties include, but are not limited to, the following:
1. Grocery Shopping
2. Menu Planning
3. Cooking for Family and Events
4. Clean-up of Kitchen and Dining Space
5. Performing other related duties as assigned by the employers or residence manager.
6. Proper food safety (including vegetables and fruit washing) and kitchen hygiene and sanitation procedures maintained.

Required Qualifications:
• Work Experience: At least 3 years of progressively responsible experience in hotel, restaurant, or as residential chef.
• Education: Should have completed secondary school or equivalent. Diploma from a culinary school and Food safety training certification will be an advantage.
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
• Utmost discretion and confidentiality in all matters both business and personal.
• Dedication to responsibilities, strong ability to prioritize and multi-task; and work under pressure.
• Knowledge of a variety of dietary lifestyles and restrictions.
• Ability to cook different types of cuisines.
• Ability to communicate and work effectively with the employer and other residence staff members.
• Mid-level spoken and written English and Kiswahili required.
• A valid Tanzanian driver’s license and driving experience would be advantageous.
