PURPOSE OF THE ROLE

Purpose of the role is to perform and complete all task assignment safety, using correct method and safety precautions to the required quality standard, completing task on time effectively using the resources, given for each task. Execute all planned and unplanned tasks and release the equipment safely to the mining operation team

QUALIFICATIONS:
• VETA Trade Test Certificate Grade one in welding and Fabrication or its equivalent

• At least 2 years’ working experience or above in Mining industry as a Welder
• Must possess Valid Tanzania Driving license

MAIN OR KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES
• Measuring and cutting materials to specifications
• Welding materials using the correct materials to join the metals together
• Checking finished work to make sure that it falls within the tolerances marked on the blueprints
• Reading and understanding blueprints prior to start a project.
• Be able to adhere to all safe working practices and procedures in the HME workshop welding section and GGM at large
• Conduct inspection of equipment’s for cracks damages or defects and records findings
• Be able to plan work before execution
• Repair equipment and report completion of tasks to Senior Supervisor
• Do all grinding works
• Meet work delivery deadlines to minimize the demand for resources without exceeding the required by date for work completion
• Observe all safety requirements relevant to the job in hand
• Report to Supervisor any unsafe equipment immediately
• Carry out work as required or directed

ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS:
• Competent in using Mig Welding
• Should be a good team player
• Demonstrate a good commitment to deliver
• Positive attitude towards safety and environment compliance
• Should be ready to work under pressure with tight deadlines and minimal supervision

Job Description
Seed Sales Representative are responsible for providing support and knowledge of their agronomic products to customers. Seed Sales Representatives also organize or act as the liaison between the company and farmers to organize trial programs and assist with analyzing and reporting results.
Our client wishes to recruit an enthusiastic, self-driven candidate for the Sales & Marketing Representative position to be based in Mpanda, Iringa and Arusha.

Duties and responsibilities
• Provide agronomic support & advice to the customers and prospects
• Follow up on grower (visits, calls) and trials
• Prepare the plan visits in line with the Operational plan
• Strategically plan activities to generate demand for available products. Research and understand the needs of the customer, and plan sales activities to increase sales and hybrid adoption.
• Uses competitive/marketing insights to challenge the customer using different available tools/materials
• Closes sales/obtain the buying commitment from the grower
• Work with customer to ensure complaints are resolved in a timely manner.
• Account planning through use of IDEA & salesforce.com
• Coach and support farmers on product management to ensure they succeed
• Provide after-the-sale customer service that increases customer loyalty and the % of seed purchase from Client
• Plan and deliver presentations to customers and potential customers that help increase sales in Mpanda, Iringa & Arusha region
• Allocates and utilizes available resources to maximize return on short-term and long-term strategic plan for sales area
• Actively contributes to analyze regional market needs and suggest changes or improvements to distribution strategy and farmer’s segmentation
• Maintain and develop relationship with the customer’s Full accountabilities of money collection from the customers on time and be proactive in early money collection.
• Contribute, implement and follow-up as per Client guidance and compliance (Business conduct, ESH Policy)
• Provide Client with the necessary market intelligence required for the commercial success
• Setting demo trials / follow up trial execution at grower level to create product awareness that best fit customer needs.

Qualifications for the Regional Sales Representative Job
• Bachelor’s degree in Agriculture or related field
• A master’s degree will be an added advantage
• Work Experience: 4+ years’ sales experience, with at least 2 years in the agricultural industry.
• Should be willing to relocate to Iringa, Mpanda and Arusha
