JOB DETAILS:
The objectives of this position are to perform the driving of CVM vehicles and ensure the safety of staff, looking after the vehicle assign to you and ensuring that CVM driving rules and regulations as well as those of the United Republic of Tanzania are strictly adhered to.

Major duties
1. Must have valid driving license at all the time
2. At least 3 years continuous experience as a driver for NGO/company
3. Preferable knowledge of NGOs
4. Drives staff members and official visitors for project-related trips, activities and assignments as requested
5. Check vehicle daily to ensure that the vehicle is maintained in good condition, checks oil, water, battery, brakes, tires, etc., performs minor repairs and arranges for other repairs and ensures that the vehicle is kept clean and perform minor and routine maintenance on assigned vehicles, identify and report maintenance problems to the Admin Officer
6. Assist the Administrator to ensure vehicle insurance and registration is updated accordingly
7. Receive all utility bills and present proper receipts on any expenditure incurred in vehicle to the Finance office in a timely manner Assist the Administrator to ensure vehicle insurance and registration is updated accordingly
8. Ensure the safety of passengers through safe driving practices, including but not limited to and punctuality
9. Transport only authorized workers
10. No driver will report to work or drive a vehicle while under the influence of alcohol and drugs
11. Driving within speed limits and in accordance with traffic regulations
12. Maintain the cleanliness of the interior and the exterior of the assigned car
13. Ensures that the steps required by rules and regulations are taken in case of involvement in an accident
14. Work overtime if required
15. No major accidents in the past 3 years
16. Familiar with Google Maps and driving apps
17. Swahili native speaker and fluent in English
18. Having VETA mechanics or driving certificate is an asset

Overview

The Quality Assurance Officer (QAO) is responsible for ensuring operational compliance of church partners to the Savings Group ministry methodology. The QAO will work with HOPE International Tanzania, HOPE International based in the United States, and partner staff with the aim of improving consistent quality of the ministry.

Responsibilities

Promote and fulfill the mission and vision of HOPE International through:

Monitoring of Compliance to HOPE’s methodology
• Conduct field monitoring reviews and produce a monthly workbook, which includes monitoring reports from visits and data validation.
• Travel and attend group meetings and Monthly Mentoring Meetings (MMMs) to ensure expected standards are met.
• Provide recommendations to improve efficiency and effectiveness of operational processes and procedures.
• Custodian of operations data for HOPE Tanzania.
• Lead in collection of stories/testimonies and support their publications.

Provision of Support to Church Partner Programs
• Assist Partners of HOPE TZ to in program implementation
• Attend mentoring and Savings Group (SG) meetings on monthly basis to monitor the partner’s compliance of HOPE’s procedures at these meetings.
• Providing capacity building, support, and coaching to Field Coordinators.
• Provide recommendations to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of operational policies and procedures for the partner programs.
• Provide training on reporting tools and procedures to all new field staff.
• Oversee and ensure that all required group visits/ QA processes are completed by the field staff.
