ICAP at Columbia University, a global health leader situated within the Columbia University Mailman School of Public Health in New York City, seeks highly qualified candidates to serve Data Analyst (1 position) to be based in Dar es Salaam, Tanzania.

The Data Analyst is responsible for conducting programmatic data analysis on a routine basis to identify gaps, strengths, and trends from implementation of HIV prevention, testing, care and treatment services. S/he provides technical assistance to ICAP staff, R/CHMTs and healthcare workers (HCWs) to analyze program data and use data for real-time decision making. Under the supervision of the M&E Advisor, the Data Analyst develops visual tools, reports, and graphics to summarize analyses into format that is easily understandable to the program team and other stakeholders.

Designing, developing, testing, maintaining, and deploying software in the Flutter framework and Dart language, Developing user interface components and implementing them by following well-known Flutter / Dart workflows and practices, Communicating with product and engineering leads and backend engineers, Assisting clients in making good decisions and choosing best solutions.

Qualifications and Requirements:
2 to 5 years of experience developing mobile apps natively in iOS and/or Android, Good understanding of state management, Flutter flavors and app architecture, Good knowledge of design patterns and clean code principle, Experience with client/server applications (REST API, JSON), Strong communications and consultative skills. Self-initiated and proactive, Knowledge of the Google Play and App Store lifecycle and Firebase services.
