JOB DETAILS:
The key purpose of this role is to load, unload and stack materials safely and to standard whilst maintaining our governance and customer service standards.

Key outputs and responsibilities:
Fleet Maintenance

• To ensure the vehicle is always maintained in good running order by observing maintenance schedule and filling pre-inspection form prior to every trip.
• Ensure that the forklift is operated and maintained in optimal condition.
• Ensure that fuel and fluids are at acceptable operating levels.

Adherence to Health, Safety and Environmental Standards
• To ensure that company and legal stacking regulations are adhered to.
• Adherence to and maintenance of site housekeeping standards.
• Wearing the correct PPE at all times as designated by site and area

Loading and Unloading Activities
• Load summary is used to load correct quantities of split and full pallets
• To ensure loading/unloading of products is done as per processes, all products are counted, both at load location and unload locations, and delivery documents are duly signed and issued

JOB DETAILS:
The key purpose of this role is to safely operate and maintain defined Packaging equipment and related processes in order to achieve optimal effectiveness.

Key outputs and responsibilities:
• Operating equipment in Packaging process areas according to VPO Standards
• Interpret and implement production plan for shift
• Operate manual and automatic machines online as per standards
• Ensure process quality checks are completed, analyzed and recorded as per Quality standards.
• Complete associated tracking and monitoring: Complete operator workstation administration and take action as required.
• Complete 5 WHY's (As per triggers) with relevant team members
• Contribute towards AB reports as required.
• Use of QFR’s (As per triggers)
• Conduct autonomous operations
• Adherence to VPO safety standards
• Ensure and maintain a safe and healthy work environment

Education
• Diploma in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering
• Training: Min – 9 months on the job training, SKAP completed within 12 months

Experience
• Experience within a Packaging FMCG industry
