JOB DETAILS:
Key responsibilities:
– Keep turnaround time of all credit applications within agreed timeframe.
– Contribute towards effective managing, monitoring and controlling the lending portfolio.
– Credit appraisal and recommendation of the credit proposals to various credit committees.
– Process other credit related applications.
– Liaise with professionals i.e. advocates, accountants, valuers, insurers etc.
– Diarizing for future action any issues arising from the credit application.
– Identification of areas of weakness during credit processing, organizing and/or recommending suitable training
– Follow up of audit reports reviewing credit applications and loan appraisals
– Analyzing of Financial statements.
– Reviewing feasibility studies to establish the viability of projects.
– Evaluating the credit worthiness of customers and prospective customers.
– Preparing of credit proposals.
– Ensuring all overdraft limits is renewed before expiry.
– Preparation of extension letters to customers where facilities have been extended.

– Knowledge, experience and personal competencies:
– University degree or equivalent qualifications in Accounting, Business
– Administration, Banking and Finance & Economics.
– Good knowledge of Microsoft applications.
– Fresh graduate / minimum of 2 years of banking experience in credit
management from a reputable commercial bank.
– Strong interpersonal, communication and reporting skills.
– Good numerical and analytical skills
– Builds relationships and networks easily
– Strong time management and organizational skills and able to meet deadlines

Minimum Qualifications
• Holder of at least bachelor’s degree in social science, health related subject or equivalent 0 At least two years of experience in qualitative data
• collection, including qualitative interviewing, is required Ability to use a computer, tablets and MS package i.e. excel, PPT and Word.
• Ability to prioritize, multi-task and work under deadlines and independently with minimal supervision Experience working or interacting with with others including children, parents/caregiver and healthcare workers and discussing issues related to chronic conditions such as diabetes, is advantageous
• Great organizational capacity
• Excellent interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills
• Fluency in English and Swahili
• Available and ready to work in Mwanza from February 2023.

Job responsibilities.
• Attend training workshop
• Have a thorough understanding of the trial protocol and in particular the qualitative component.
• Able to follow study SoP
• Obtain informed consent of individuals to be interviewed Interview individuals to obtain relevant information using qualitative interview methods
• Collect data using tablets and excel templates or interview guide and audio tap
• Maintain privacy and total confidentiality regarding all information related to the study
• Assist in collecting feedback/ suggestions of participants, if necessary
• Perform verbatim transcription of collected qualitative data Performing any other duties related to the study as assigned by the study coordinator
