JOB DETAILS:
Overall purpose of the role:
Providing logistics support includes fleet, procurement, assets management, generators management and other supply chain duties
Warehouse Management

Responsibilities:

• Responsible for provision of Logistics support.
• Responsible for fleet management
• Responsible for inventory counting and stock taking
• Responsible for provision of warehouse management support
• Processing Low value procurement as per DRC Procurement policies
• Recognizing all expired and obsolete/obsolescence to be disposed and doing the needful.
• Work hand to hand with HR and Admin on all utilities required by DRC staff who live in the DRC staff compound, consolidate their needs and work up them
• Responsible for management of assets and equipment
• Preparation of logistics and stock reports which should be shared on time as per DRC Supply Chain guidelines

Experience and technical competencies:
• Minimum 3 years working with Refugees context
• Experience with ERP system. (DRC dynamics)
• High level of professionalism
• Experience in working with International organizations is an added advantage. Mainly UN agencies
• Experience in Supply Chain i.e Procurement, Fleet, warehouse and assets management
• Experience in working as a team
• Experience with meeting deadlines

Education:

• Degree in Supply Chain or Business Management is required

Languages:

• Fluent in English
• Kirundi is an added advantage

Standard Job Description
Driver Organizational Setting and Work Relationships

The Driver in the UNHCR Office is normally supervised directly by the Administrative Officer/Associate/Assistant or another staff member when the scale of the Operation so require it. Besides driving, the incumbent is responsible for up keep and maintenance of the assigned UNHCR vehicle(s) as per technical guidance and specifications established by the Organisation.
S/he is required to follow strict instructions and security guidance provided by the supervisor. While the basic function of a driver is to drive the official vehicles of UNHCR, s/he may be called upon to perform minor maintenance and repair of UNHCR vehicles.

The Driver has regular contacts with staff within the UNHCR Office and with others (including Partners, government authorities, etc.) outside UNHCR involving a limited exchange of information. All UNHCR staff members are accountable to perform their duties as reflected in their job description. They do so within their delegated authorities, in line with the regulatory framework of UNHCR which includes the UN Charter, UN Staff Regulations and Rules, UNHCR Policies and Administrative Instructions as well as relevant accountability frameworks. In addition, staff members are required to discharge their responsibilities in a manner consistent with the core, functional, cross-functional and managerial competencies and UNHCR¿s core values of professionalism, integrity and respect for diversity.

Duties

• Drive UNHCR vehicles for the transport of authorized passengers, deliver, and collect documents and other items.
• Meet official personnel at airports or other locations and facilitate immigration and customs formalities as required.
• Perform day-to-day maintenance of the assigned vehicles; check oil, water, battery, brakes, tires, etc. and ensure that the assigned UNHCR vehicles are road or waterway worthy and maintained up to the established security standards.
• Perform minor repairs, arrange for other repairs, and ensure that the vehicle is kept clean.
• Ensure that the steps required by rules and regulations, or other local procedures, are taken in case of involvement in an accident.
• Log official trips, daily mileage, gas consumption, oil changes, greasing, etc.
• Ensure that instructions and security guidance provided by the supervisor and security focal point are strictly followed.
• Ensures valid documentation for passengers, items or cargo in vehicle.
• Perform other related duties as required.

Desired Candidate Profile
• At least 05 years of professional experience;
• Essential to have Tanzanian Driving License Class C1 (Licensed to drive public service vehicles with a seating capacity of 15 but less to 30) and D (license to drive all types of vehicles except motorcycles, heavy duty and public service vehicles) categories. Work experience with UN agencies and humanitarian partners is an added advantage.

JOB DETAILS:
SENIOR SUPPLIES OFFICER (WAREHOUSE) -1 Position:
He or She will be reporting to Procurement and Supplies Manager.

Description of Duties:
• Be the In-charge of Main Store and Sugar Warehouse of the Company;
• To ensure proper Inventory Control and Management;
• To ensure stores functions such as receiving of incoming goods/materials, issuing and storage are undertaken in required standards and as provided for by Company’s Stores Manual;
• To design the proper store/warehouse layout and ensure all stores are kept in respective locations;
• To establish and maintain optimal stock levels, proper re-order levels and efficient ordering system to avoid stock outs and stoppage of the Company operations as well as overstocking which unnecessarily tie the company’s capital;
• To ensure proper and systematic identification of all stock materials and assets;
• To review stores/warehouse reports on weekly basis and to generate the inventory reports on monthly and quarterly basis;
• To administer the periodic stock takings and prepare reports on quarterly basis;
• To enhance safety and security in stores section;
• To evaluate performance of stores staffs;
• To conduct training need analysis to staff under Stores Section;
• To conduct performance assessment to all staff who have attended training; and
• To carry out any other duties as assigned by supervisor.

Academic Qualification:
Must have at least Bachelor degree in Procurement and Logistics Management or equivalent from a recognized institution; Must be holder of Certified Procurement and Supplies Professional (CPSP), CSP or equivalent issued by PSPTB or any other recognized International Professional Institution; Must be registered by Procurement and Supplies Professionals and Technicians Board (PSPTB) in category of Approved Procurement and Supplies professionals;

Experience Required:
Must have an experience of at least three (3) years of experience in store functions, control and management such as fuel control, technical and non-technical materials/goods.

General condition: all applicants should have accomplished Secondary School Education and possess an Ordinary Certificate or an Advanced Certificate of Secondary Education or its equivalent and should not be above 45 years of age.
