Her Initiative stands for a girl who has empowered herself enough to address her social-economic problems. Her Initiative aims to reach out to adolescent girls and young women and girls aged between 15 to 35 years. Her Initiative’s team is a resilient group of social change-makers who personally identify with the experiences of the young women and girls we reach and who are tenacious enough to tackle Tanzania’s challenging economy head-on through bold, young women and girls-led initiative. It is young women and girls’ ideas that are at the center of the solutions we provide, ensuring that we don’t waste resources on ideas that don’t reflect the needs.

2.0 Job Description
HER INITIATIVE is seeking a qualified Finance Intern aged 18 to 35 to join our team. The organization is working with and for young women to enable them to generate income through enhancing access to knowledge, skills, and resources. Its overall objective is economic empowerment, Sexual Reproductive Health Rights (SRHR), and or Gender-Based Violence (GBV) programs working with the governmental institution, private sector, NGOs, as well as other national and international agencies. The goal of Her Initiative is to create financial resilience and digital inclusion in order to contribute to achieving gender equality and inclusive economic growth.

3.0 Job Summary
We are currently looking for a vibrant, competent, dynamic, and experienced finance Intern to support our finances and administrative department. That will be engaged to administer and assist all financial requirements, handle administrative functions and general office needs to ensure Her Initiative fulfil its goals and objectives.

4.0 Responsibilities
• Assist in preparation of organization and project budgets.
• Assist in managing records and receipts of all income and expenses.
• Reconciling daily and monthly transactions.
• Assist in preparation of balance sheets.
• Assist in preparing the Quarterly and Annual Financial Report at the time of request and on the basis of a corresponding work plan.
• Facilitate communication and transparency to other departments on financial and accounting matters.
• Assist in ensuring that the organization is adhering to all statutory demands such payment of tax.
• Assist in coordinating logistics activities related to procurement, funding, substantive units and humanitarian affairs.
• Participate in coordination of projects and any other task assigned by the management.

6.0 Required Skills and Experience
Education

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business and Public Administration or closely related field.
• Strong computer skills (word, excel, outlook), data management and web-based applications.

Experience

• At least 1 year of experience in finance and administrative office.

Language Requirements:
• Proficiency in both written and spoken English.

JOB DETAILS:
Security Officer Job Vacancy at Four Seasons Hotels and Resorts

Basic purpose:
• The Security Officer is a key individual in achieving the goals and quality standards of the Security Department. The Security Officer must follow and perform all the duties and standards in the department. The mission for the Security Department is: “protect the life and safety of our guests and employees, protect physical assets and property, ensure security standards are met and maintained and provide service to guests and employees”.
• As such, the Security Officer has responsibility for:
• Performing security patrol and duties on a day-to-day basis. Working with the Security Supervisor, Assistant Manager Safety & Loss Prevention and the Director of Safety & Loss Prevention to be proficient in the department operations, in his/her responsibility and for other special projects as may be requested.
Having a working knowledge of all security P&Ps and all the equipments and databases.

Essential functions:
• Conduct himself/herself in a professional manner at all times.
• Adhere to the established standard of conduct and house rules, fire regulations and department procedures and policies.
• Wear issued uniform and ensure a neat, clean and tidy appearance at all times. Report to work on time, aware of schedule at all times and if unable to attend work, notifies the Security Supervisor or Security Director in adequate time as stated in Employee Handbook.
• Work closely with and gain a working knowledge of the Department from the Security supervisor.
• Patrol the public areas regularly, including the guest corridors and back of house areas, together with the perimeter of the hotel and grounds, car park, pool to prevent intrusion by animals, unauthorized people or undesirables Escort guests from the lobby area to rooms and vice versa.
• Control the staff entrance and conduct regular baggage checks of staff and contractors exiting the building. Ensure, during routine patrols, that health and safety regulations are being observed and that all fire regulations are met.
• Routinely check the security of all storerooms and offices. Perform the delivery and pickup of guest baggage to and from guest rooms and the Lodge entrance.
• Document any crime or incident which has taken place, including the completion and filing of theft/loss/damage reports and electronic security logs.
• Document any incidents reported.
• To liaise with the Director of Safety and Security, to ensure that steps needed to prevent recurrence are taken.
• Accept and secure items of lost property, attempting to restore these items to the rightful owner (Lost and Found).
• As a key member of the hotel’s emergency response team, be fully familiar with response and evacuation procedures including the fire panel and participate as a floor fire officer as required. Monitor and control the issue of all hotel master keys.
• Open/repair in-room safes when required. Receive deliveries of goods from outside the normal hours of the Loading Bay and Purchasing staff and ensure the safe arrival of the goods to their intended recipient.
• Be available to administer emergency first aid treatment to staff and guests injured or taken ill and arrange follow-up medical attention as necessary.
• Open staff housing when necessary and conduct housing checks when required, in conjunction with the HR department.
• Make senior management immediately aware of any incident or unusual event.
• The contact person for any of the emergency services responding to the hotel.

Non-essential functions:
• Assist Crunch Team to departments throughout the hotel.
• Other duties as assigned by management.
• May be required to travel to or temporarily relocate to Arusha logistics center to assist as needed.

High School Diploma
Experience:
At least 6 months Security experience preferred. Previous experience in hospitality industry preferred

Good in English, ability to operate computer preferred
