The Vodacom Internship programme is a 12 month fixed term contract which provides workplace experience. It allows one to gain valuable work experience, explore career paths, networking with professionals in the field, while earning an income. This programme is our pipeline or transition into permanent roles as opportunities arise. The applicants need to have completed at least their undergraduate degree or equivalent.

Start date is 15 November 2022.

The objective of the Vodacom Internship Programme is to:
• Develop a talent pipeline of skilled individuals for the core business areas within Vodacom
• Create opportunities for unemployed graduates with the required qualifications to develop competencies in the digital technology company environment.

Programmes Requirements
• Must be Tanzanian
• Fresh graduate or graduate with less than 2 years working experience
• Must be 26 years old or younger
• Must have obtained a minimum of upper-second class degree or equivalent
• Degrees in Computer Science/Information Technology, Statistics/Actuarial Science, Telecommunication/Electrical/Electronic Engineering, Economics, Accounting, Finance, and Sales & Marketing are preferred.

• The Enriche Facilitator will be responsible to co-design, adapt, deliver and assess the impact of the Enriche curriculum in collaboration with partner organizations.

LANGUAGES:

Education:

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Enriche curriculum implementation:
• Create curriculum content targeted at for non-formally educated rural women on the 8 Enriche areas and adapt it to local specificities
• Identify each group’s priorities and needs, and select relevant topics and activities
• Plan and coordinate semester’s’ activities in collaboration with other sections in the center
• Gather resources for workshop implementation
• Conduct baseline surveys
• Facilitate / present workshops in English, Kiswahili and in ‘no common language’ scenarios
• Participate in design of digital teaching aids and material with audio-visual content
• Liaison with various sections within Barefoot College
• Develop partnerships with other NGOs and CBOs

Community implementation:
• Training local NGOs / CBOs on their roles around Enriche curriculum
• Coordinate with other NGOs / CBOs the field implementation of Enriche related activities

Documentation and reporting:
• Collect data for accurate reporting
• Detailed documentation and report writing related to the workshops
• Monitor progress and assess learnings outcomes

• St. Constantine’s International School (SCIS) is a non-denominational, co-educational, day and boarding, international school.
