The RMNCAH-Pediatric HIV/AIDS officer will be responsible for on ground implementation of the PATA planned interventions which include RMNCAH and Pediatric HIV interventions. His/her main role will be to provide support to the supported FBO health facilities to improve their capacity in providing RMNCAH and pediatric HIV services. Under the guidance of Integrated RMNCAH-HIV/TB Advisor he/she will participate in scaling up of PMTCT and padlatrics services Including PITC, ART and Early child Infant diagnosis (EID). She/he will be a technical lead on the PMTC and pediatric and will strategically provide directions to rollout Implementation and monitoring of all Interventions pertaining these programs.
The RMNCAH/ pediatric HIV officer will be based in Morogoro town with frequent travels to Morogoro districts.

Duties and Responsibilities
• Capacity building of the health care workers working in the FBO supported facilities to provide quality RMNCAH and HIV services.
• Support the health facilities in planning Initiation and Implementation of Early Infant Dlagnosis program and
• Integration of early Infant diagnoals with HIV Pediatric care and treatment program Including PMTCT. Work closely with the Regional Health management teams (RHMT, Council Health Management teams (CHMT) and Hospital Management Teame (HMTs) In Implementing Innovative strategies for Improving the quality of PMTCT and pediatric HIV Including ElD pervice.
• Conduct regular supportive wuperviplon, onelte mentorship and coaching in the supported health facilities to effectively Implement HIV/AIDS, TB, maternal neo natal and child health services Intervention as per the givenn guldelines and SOP'.
• Conduct operational researches for evidence-based Interventions In order to improve the Impact of the program.
• Ensure services guidelines and protocols, SOPs and Job Alda are available, property and constantly waed by the health care providers at the facility level.
• To assist in program monitoring and evaluation in RMNCAH, PMTCT and Pediatric HIV care and treatment
• Support strengthening of social accountability at health facility level through establishment and strengthening of TWGs, Stakeholder's forums, leaming sessions, MPDSR committees, Respectful Maternity Sarvices, client satisfaction surveys, Quality Improvement teams, and Service charter utilization.
• Support the M&E taam In monitoring the site-specific key performance Indicators.
• Any other duties as directed the supervisor

Qualification
• Bachelor degree in Medicine
• Experience and skills:
• Minimum of three years (3) years relevant work experience in Pediatric HIV and RMNCAH related project
• Experience in Implernerting USAID funded pediatric HIV or RMNCAH projects.
• Experience with pediatric HIV programming
• Experience working with PEPFAR funded programs
• Ability to deal effectively and diplomatically with multiple government agencies, non government organizations,
• faith-based organizations, and private sector 6. Proven verbal and written communication skills including a demonstrated ability to write technical documents and
• give state-of-the arts presentations.
• willingness to travel outside duty station for more than 40%
• Fluency in Kiswahill and English

Overall, the HTA will coordinate health technical support services and provide technical advice and support on health service delivery. HTA will be engaged on monitoring the trends on health service delivery, continuous Quality Assurance and quality improvement initiatives, coordination of health related programe/projects and capacity building, compile sector information and reporta, management and dissemination of information; eatabllah and maintains excellent working relationahipa with counterparts within FBO facilities, Ministry of Health, PORALG and other local and Intemational partner organizations to ensure effective networking, collaboration and coordination of CSSC national and regional health interventions. The position involves at least 60% field travel.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Collect and analyze health Information, date and progress/performance reports and other relevant Information related to health and health related programme from the network of health facilities, relevant stakeholders and share feedback and recommendations.

• Contribute to identification of strateglc areas for health and health related Project/programme development and provide the necessary technical aupport to proposal development and programme work, studies, research and other Health related development initiatives.
• Make follow-up on laques related to grants and subaldies to church Health Institutions with health rector related Ministries and other partners.
• Develop and implement strategies to improve quality of health service delivery and support member church health
• facilities to respond to & address issues or challenges related to Ql and health service delivery.
• Work closely with FBO health facilities, government (R/CHMT) and other partners to Identity resources and technical assistance naede, challenges in service delivery and Jointly find solutions and or submit the reports to facility owners, sector ministries -Technkcal Working groups and other relevant authoritlas for further actions and decision making.
• Ensure timely preparations and submlssion of health department and health related Program/projects reports to be submitted to relevant authorities.
• Facilitate, promote and enhance networking and partnerships with other Health sector stakeholders and partners.

Qualification
• Bachelor Level degree in Medicine.
• Master's Degree in Public Health or equivalent qualification will be an added advantage with 4-5 years working experience in a relevant position
• Work Experience - Previous experience working closely with Ministry of Health officials and in policy review or development Health Systems Strengthening
• Previous experience working in a technical advisory capacity, and as part of a consortlum of Implementing partners,HG0g.

Position Summary
• Act to End Neglected Tropical Diseases (NTDs) | East is a five-year project funded by the U.S. Agency for International Development (USAID) that helps national NTD control programs for the control and elimination of five targeted NTDs: lymphatic filariasis, onchocerciasis, schistosomiasis, soil-transmitted helminths, and trachoma. Health Systems Strengthening (HSS) program assistant will support Act | East program through assisting HSS activities implementation for Tanzania Neglected Tropical Diseases Control Program (TNTDCP). HSS program assistant will ensure smooth running of all HSS activities and maintain linkage across all NTD technical areas while maintaining good communication with Tanzania Neglected Tropical diseases and HSS RTI partners. He/she will report to the HSS advisor.

Location: Dar es Salaam

Essential Duties
• Support HSS Advisor in efforts to mainstream NTD activities into national and district-level health systems.
• Work with HSS Advisor in identifying HSS needs for the TZNTDCP through analysis of program data, in country and global HSS related HSS policies and guidelines
• Assist HSS in preparation and coordination of workshops and meetings including compilation of reports.
• Monitor annual work plan implementation in collaboration with NTDCP HSS focal person
• Coordinate the linkage of HSS and other technical areas within RTI and NTDCP
• In collaboration with HSS Advisor, She/he will also ensure successful implementation of HSS activities, ensure best practices and lessons learned are captured and disseminated across the project and other relevant platforms.
• Perform other duties related to HSS as assigned by the HSS Advisor

Minimum Required Education & Experience
• Master’s degree with 1 year of experience or bachelor’s degree and 3 years of experience in Health systems, policy, public health or related fields.

Skills & Abilities:
• Ability to travel to the field up to 20% of the time
• Proven experience in working collaboratively with Tanzanian government units at all levels as well as local NGOs is preferred.
• Ability to successfully work within a team, have exceptional organizational skills and the ability to handle multiple, high-pressure tasks.
• Fluent in English and have strong interpersonal skills, cultural awareness and the ability to effectively communicate with individuals from diverse professional and social backgrounds with a service-oriented attitude.
