Qualification:
• Holder of Bachelor Degree in Human Resources Management Education or its equivalent from a recognized University/ Institution

ii. Duties and Responsibilities
• Assisting in collecting, keeping and updating personnel data and information.
• Assisting in making Training Needs Assessment.
• Assisting in preparing periodic performance reports.
• Assisting collecting, analyzing and planning proper statistics records for human resources plans.
• Assisting preparing and handling seniority list.
• Assisting drafting internal circulars, letters and internal memorandum for official use.
• Assisting in coordinating various meetings and preparing periodic performance reports.
• Assisting in collection, analyses, tabulates and maintains workforce records and statistics.
• Assisting in the administration of recruitment and placement
• Assisting in carry out orientation of new staff
• Performing any other relevant assignments/tasks as may be assigned by his/her seniors

iii. Other skills
• Fluent in both written and spoken Swahili and English.
• Good Computer skills.

Job Summary
Our Client, a Group of Companies, is looking for a skilled HR Officer who will recruit, support and develop talent through developing policies and managing procedures. He/she will be responsible for administrative tasks and will contribute to making the company a better place to work.

Responsibilities;
• Support the development and implementation of HR initiatives and systems
• To provide counseling on policies and procedures.
• Be actively involved in recruitment by preparing job descriptions, posting ads and managing the hiring process.
• Create and implement effective onboarding plans.
• Develop training and development programs.
• Assist in performance management processes.
• Support the management of disciplinary and grievance issues.
• Maintain employee records (attendance, leave, etc) according to policy and legal requirements.
• Review employment and working conditions to ensure legal compliance.

Requirements;
• Should have a bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or any related fields.
• Should have minimum 2 years of relevant experience in human resources.
• Should have knowledge of HR functions (pay & benefits, recruitment, training & development etc.)
• Understanding of labor laws and disciplinary procedures
• Proficient in MS Office; knowledge of HRMS is a plus.
• Outstanding organizational and time-management abilities.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Problem-solving and decision-making aptitude.
